Build a Repeatable Restock Loop
In Supermarket Simulator, a stockout means an empty shelf spot while customers are shopping. Customers can only buy what is currently on the shelf, so those gaps can quickly turn into missed sales and complaints. Keep it simple: check shelves, refill from storage (your backroom inventory), then reorder products that are running low in both places. That one loop prevents most early-game chaos.
Start each day with a quick top-off before the rush. Refill your fastest-selling essentials first, then slower items. During busy stretches, do short refill runs instead of full reorganizing so checkout flow stays smooth. Save deep sorting and layout cleanup for quiet periods or after closing.
Use Thresholds So You Don't Overthink
Set a clear trigger: if a shelf drops to around one-third full, refill it right away; if storage is also running low, add that product to the next order. Early on, smaller and more frequent orders are usually safer than giant buys that drain cash and leave you stuck.
Keep your catalog tight until your routine is stable. Every extra product adds another shelf to monitor and another reorder decision. For new players, fewer products that stay full is usually better than a wide selection with constant empty shelves.
