Best Farming Routes for Ore, Coal, Sulfur, and Quartz

In Palworld, a resource node is just a mineable deposit. If you are new, do not try to farm all four materials at once. Start with Ore for Ingots. Add Coal when Refined Ingot crafting opens at the Improved Furnace. Run Sulfur for Gunpowder and ammo. Save Pure Quartz runs for Circuit Boards and electric-tech builds.

Your biggest time saver is a Palbox outpost near each biome loop. A Palbox is your base core, your build radius, and a fast-travel return point. Keep one flying mount, one mining Pal, and one transport Pal in your party. Start from a Great Eagle Statue (map fast-travel statue) or a Palbox, clear nearby nodes in short loops, and fast-travel home before you get over-encumbered.

Practical Route Order

Route 1: Ore + Coal (your core loop)

Prioritize Coal clusters in desert routes, then scoop Ore veins on the same trip when possible. Clear every node in a tight circle, then port out immediately. This remains your best repeat loop because one run supports both Ingot smelting and Refined Ingot crafting.

Route 2: Sulfur (ammo-focused runs)

Farm Sulfur in desert or volcanic zones based on what your current armor can safely handle. Sulfur mainly supports Gunpowder, so do short, targeted trips when ammo crafting dips instead of giant hoarding sessions. Dungeons can include Sulfur deposits, but treat them as opportunistic bonus runs, not a guaranteed farm.

Route 3: Pure Quartz (late-tech burst farming)

Run Quartz when you are actively building Circuit Boards for power and electric structures. Hit snowy Astral Mountains routes, mine clustered Pure Quartz nodes, and leave. Bring cold-resistant gear and extra carry capacity so each trip is efficient.

Simple rhythm: keep Ore + Coal on steady repeat, top up Sulfur as ammo demand rises, and schedule Quartz as planned burst runs. That keeps Palworld progression smooth without turning your whole session into nonstop mining.
