Roof: Levels 5-1 to 5-10

Our Plants Vs. Zombies Walkthrough is the essential almanac for raising zombie fighting flora that can withstand the hordes attacking your home. We've made sure to include everything the budding zombie fighter will need including detailed information on the types of plants and zombies you'll encounter as well as videos and strategies for each and every level.

Level  5-1

Zombies:  Zombie, Conehead, Bungee

Plants:  Sunflower, Cabbage Pult, Wall-Nut, Chomper, Squash, and fill in the rest

  1. Plant 5 Sunflowers
  2. Let the Rake get the first zombie
  3. Plant 2 columns of Cabbage-Pults
  4. Plant 1 column to  the right of Wall-Nuts
  5. Fill in as needed when the Bungee Zombies come
  6. Receive Flower Pot

Play Wall-Nut Bowling to get the Roof Cleaner on PC/Mac

 

 

Level  5-2

Zombies:  Zombie, Conehead, Buckethead, Pole Vauliting, Bungee

Plants:  Sunflower, Flower Pot, Cabbage Pult, Wall-nuit, Chomper, Squash, Potate Mine, Tall-Nut,

  1. Plant 5 Sunflowers
  2. Use rake or potato mine for 1st zombie
  3. Plant 2 columns of Cabbage-Pults
  4. As available, plant Flower Pot and Wall-Nut in the 5th column
  5. Plant column of Chompers in 4th column
  6. Fill in as needed when the Bungee Zombies come
  7. Use flower pots to force Pole Vaulters to jump
  8. Plant squash and jalapeno to get the tough ones
  9. Receive Kernel-pult

 

 

 

 

Level  5-3

Zombies:  Zombie, Conehead, Ladder

Plants:  Sunflower, Flower Pot, Cabbage-pult, Wall-Nut, Tall-nut, Squash, Jalapeno, Chomper

  1. Plant 5 Sunflowers
  2. Plant 2 columns of Cabbage-Pults
  3. Plant 1 column of Wall-Nuts in the 5th column (adding flower pots)
  4. Plant 1 column of Chompers in the 4th column
  5. Dig up any Wall-Nuts that have ladders on them and replant or as Ladder Zombies come plant another Wall-Nut or Squash
  6. Receive Coffee Bean

 

 

Level 5-4

Zombies:  Regular, Conehead, Pogo, Ladder, Football

Plants:  Sunflower, Flower Pot, Cabbage-pult, Wall-Nut, Squash, Jalapeno, Tall-Nut, Magnet-shroom, Coffee Bean

  1. Plant 5 Sunflowers
  2. Plant 2 columns of Cabbage-Pults
  3. Plant 1 column of Wall-Nuts in the 5th column (adding flower pots)
  4. Plant 3-5 magnets with coffee beans
  5. Add 6th row of wall-nuts or Tall-Nuts
  6. Only need 3 magnets
  7. Receive watering can

 

 

 

Level 5-5                                                                                                                                                                                             

Conveyor belt.

This level gives you only Flower Pots, Pumpkins, Chompers, and Cherry Bombs

Receive Garlic

 

 

 

Level 5-6

Zombies:  Zombie, Conehead, Catapult

Plants:  Sunflower, Flower Pot, Cabbage-pult, Wall-Nut, Squash, Jalapeno, Chomper, tall-nut, Cherry Bomb

  1. Plant 5 Sunflowers
  2. Plant 2 columns of Cabbage-Pults
  3. Plant 1 column of Wall-Nuts in the 5th column (adding flower pots)
  4. Plant 1 column of Chompers in the middle row
  5. You can use Squash planted in the 7th column to get the Catapult or Jalapeno if Squash is recharging
  6. Receive Umbrella Leaf

 

 

 

Level 5-7

Zombies:  Zombie, Conehead, Catapult, Ladder, Bungee

Plants:  Sunflower, Flower Pot, Cabbage-pult, Wall-Nut, Squash, Jalapeno, Chomper, Tall-Nut, Cherry Bomb

  1. Plant 5 Sunflowers
  2. Plant 2 columns of Cabbage-Pults
  3. Plant 1 column of Wall-Nuts in the 5th column (adding flower pots)
  4. Plant 1 column of Chompers in the middle row
  5. You can use Squash to get the Catapult or Jalapeno if Squash is recharging
  6. Plant extra Wall-Nuts as needed to block Ladder Zombies
  7. Replace plants the Bungee zombies take
  8. Receive marigold

 

 

 

Level 5-8

Zombies:  Zombie, Conehead, Gargantuar, Imp,

Plants:  Sunflower, Flower Pot, Cabbage-pult, Wall-Nut, Squash, Jalapeno, Chomper, Tall-Nut, Cherry Bomb

  1. Plant 5 Sunflowers
  2. Plant 2 columns of Cabbage-Pults
  3. Plant 1 column of Wall-Nuts in the 5th column (adding flower pots)
  4. Plant 1 column of Chompers in the middle row
  5. Use a Jalapeno and Squash (both) to kill Gargantuar, one of which comes in each wave.
  6. Receive Melon-Pult

 

 

 

Level 5-9

Zombies:  Zombie, Conehead, Gargantuar, Imp, Bungee, Catapult, Ladder, Jack-in-the-Box, Bucket

Plants:  Sunflower, Flower Pot, Cabbage-pult, Wall-Nut, Squash, Jalapeno, Chomper, Tall-Nut, Cherry Bomb

  1. Plant 5 Sunflowers
  2. Plant 2 columns of Cabbage-Pults
  3. Plant 1 column of Wall-Nuts in the 5th column (adding flower pots)
  4. Plant 1 column of Chompers in the middle column
  5. Plant Wall-Nuts and Tall-Nuts if needed in the 6th column
  6. Use a Jalapeno and Squash (both) to kill Gargantuar, one of which comes before the Final Wave and one in the Final Wave.
  7. Catapults come throughout
  8. Receive Note

 

 

 

Level 5-10

  • Dr. Zomboss's robot drops zombies in the rows
  • Conveyor for planting
  • Plant Cabbage-, Kernel-, and Cabbage-Pults as zombies come down the row, trying to keep one of each in each row if possible
  • Save at least one Jalapeno and one Ice Shroom at all times
  • Dr. Zomboss will drop Ice balls which require Jalapenos to destroy and Fire balls which require Ice-shroom in any lane to destroy
  • Hold back flower pots and "pults" after you have 3 columns of them
  • Plant 4th column of pots for Ice and Jalapeno
  • Dr. Zomboss will drop Bungee zombies and  smash your flower pots throughout so you want some held back
