How to Run the Mine Efficiently

In Coral Island, every mine trip works best with one goal: push deeper floors, farm ore, or farm gems. A floor is one level of the cavern, and stamina is the energy you spend on tool swings and many other actions. If you try to do all three goals in one run, progress usually slows down, so decide your focus before you enter and pack for that plan.

On progression runs, aim for the next elevator checkpoint you can unlock, then leave after you reach it. On material runs, break high-value nodes first (ore and gem nodes). A node is a breakable resource rock that can drop ore or gems. Skip plain stone unless you need crafting stock, and keep cheap food on your hotbar so you can refill stamina mid-run instead of heading home early.

Ore, Gems, and Upgrade Priority

Feed ore into your furnace first so you can smelt bars for blacksmith tool upgrades. If money is tight, upgrade your pickaxe before other tools. A stronger pickaxe does more damage per hit, which makes future mining runs faster and smoother. For gems, hold at least one copy until you check museum donation and Lake Temple offering needs, then sell duplicates for cash.

For combat risk management, keep it simple: clear nearby enemies before you tunnel into rocks, watch your health, and leave before greed takes over. If your inventory fills up, keep ore and gems over plain stone. That one habit helps protect your value on rough RNG days.
