Mystery Legends: Beauty and the Beast Walkthrough
News Flash - officially addicted to a new series, Mystery Legends. It isn't exactly new, this is the third installment, but I just finished playing the newest game Mystery Legends: Beauty and the Beast. I can't wait to go back and play the others! This game is fantastic! Who doesn't want t help Belle save The Beast (again!)? I have always loved fairy tales, folklore, and mythology and I, little old me, got to become Belle for a... well, game. I must say The Beast was quite handsome ::sighs::. Enough daydreaming, on to the game! The graphics are stunning. The characters are very real. The voices are perfect. The plot incredible. Is there anything wrong with this game? In a word, no! Well, except for what I think was just too many spiders and spider related games! I can hear Lucy laughing at me now. The story line has you freeing The Beast from the clutches of the evil witch yet again. You must find soul shards to free him. Once you find a soul shard you enter a popular fairy tale and have to find twenty roses. There are many hidden object areas in the game, but I wouldn't say it was over done. It seemed just right to me. They varied from somewhat easy to moderately hard. There was also just enough puzzles for my taste and the also varied from easy to moderately hard. The hardest one (in my opinion) I added a video solution. The actual game play is done very well, but there were a few times I wasn't sure what to do next. In most cases it was simply because I had overlooked an item in a previous scene. They can be tricky! The guide was written with the collector's edition and will work well with either the collectors or regular editions. The collector's edition does include a guide, however it's a text only guide. This game is really a must have. It's pretty close to perfect in every way. I saw that the second game in the series is Phantom of the Opera, a favorite musical of mine. I'm already anticipating entering the world of music, dance, theater and... The Phantom! Until next time, happy gaming!
