My Life Story Review

I am a big fan of games where you get to develop your own story. So when I saw the time management game, "My Life Story", I had to give it a try. And it did not disappoint! There is so much about this game that really drew me in.

I am a big fan of games where you get to develop your own story. So when I saw the time management game, "My Life Story", I had to give it a try. And it did not disappoint! There is so much about this game that really drew me in. You start by choosing the name and gender of your character. As the story begins, your character has just graduated from high school, and living at home with her mother in the basement. The rest of the game is trying to develop the rest of her story, like what her college degree will be in, what career she will have, and where she will live. The options are seemingly endless. While doing so, however, you must maintain her various life meters, such as hunger, energy, fun, and happiness. And so enters the time management piece. You must reach the goals, earn enough money, and keep her meters up each week in order to reach the next level. As the game progresses, this becomes more and more of a challenge as the demands upon your character increase. I really liked though that there are a variety of options to choose from to increase her life meters. One of the many other things I also really like about this game is the random elements that arise, like the different life cards and the events that happen over the weekend that have an effect on your life meter levels. The graphics are well done too. I especially like the graphics that show your character working on the task you assign to it. Overall, this game is a lot of fun to play. So if you love a good story, give "My Life Story" a try and create one of your own!
