Well, the E3 Conference is over, so I guess that means it’s back to work here at CGG, and one of the first items on the agenda was creating a Kingdom Chronicles Walkthrough. Have you played this game yet, resource management fans? Because this is a really exciting addition to the genre that I think you’re going to kick yourself if you miss it…
Kingdom Chronicles has everything your resource-management-loving heart could desire. First, there’s a decent story, which actually helps draw you in and makes you want to clear those roads and build bridges for the abused people of the kingdom.
A tyrant named Moomrabec, no idea how to pronounce that by the way… I just started calling him Mumm-Ra the ever living, has taken over the kingdom and overthrown King Edward and locked up Princess Jane. Most likely because their names were so plain or lacking in syllables.
Anyhow, it’s up to you, John Brave, the fearless one syllable adventurer returned from a long journey, to save the day. The story is somewhat reminiscent of the Odyssey, where Ulysses returns home to find his homeland torn apart since his absence. Now, John Brave must travel throughout the kingdom putting wrongs to right by ordering around a bunch of workers, clerks, and soldiers… wait…
Next, I found the music to be pretty entertaining. There were a few times I caught myself tapping my foot or awkwardly bobbing my head like a turkey in time to the music. It’s all flute and whistle music, very adventuresome and reminded me of the kind of pirate music you might hear while floating down the river on a theme park ride.
As in most resource management games, it’s all about collecting, building, repairing, and knowing when to use your speed boosts in order to get the gold medal. Timing and task order is key, so take a look at the walkthrough if you get stuck on a certain level. We’ll tell and show you with tons of videos exactly what to do, so you don’t have to hit your head against the wall if you’re just not coming in on the right time to get that gold.
No matter if you just want to use the Kingdom Chronicles Walkthrough for help when you need it, or if you use it as a constant companion while playing the game, we’re sure you’ll enjoy what we’ve put together for you. Just click the link below to access it.
