Gameplay

  • Selection of an available action will be given a green check mark. If the action is unavailable, either due to inadequate resources or obstructions in the way, you will see a red X and an explanation.

  • Green check marks will turn red if an enemy is scaring the workers away.

  • Actions can be stacked up as long as the resources are available and the way is clear.

  • Right-clicking the screen anywhere will cancel the last selected action. You can cancel in reverse order but once the worker is on the way, you cannot cancel that action.

  • Hovering the cursor over an item will give you the cost of the building or obstruction and the resulting products. Adequate resources will be in black; inadequate resources will be in red.

  • Buildings have a small hammer shield to the upper right if there is a build or upgrade available. It will turn green if the resources to build or upgrade are available.

  • Clicking on an item that is obstructed will show you the path in white dots up to the obstruction and red dots after the obstruction.

  • Hovering over a goal will show those items flashing.

Resources

  • There are 4 resources in this game: Food, wood, stone, and gold.

  • Resources can be found lying on the ground and are worth 1 unit.

  • Food can be found on berry bushes (2 food) and apple trees (4 food)

  • Obstructions can provide a variety of quantities and usually require food to clear them.

  • Certain larger goal items will return resources also and these amounts are listed when you hover over the item.

  • Sometimes resources are hidden underneath other items, especially rocks.

  • Buildings will provide the majority of your resources.

  • Traders are available on certain levels to trade for certain resources.

Characters

  • Workers - Each level will start with at least one worker at the hut. The hut can usually be upgraded to obtain more workers.

  • Clerks - Clerks collect rent at cottages and are available through the town hall.

  • Warriors fight off enemies and clear enemy structures. They are available at the barracks.

  • Traders are available on certain levels. Clicking on one will send a worker to trade for the stated amount. Traders stand in front of a flag which show what product they are trading.

  • Various characters that you will have to pay off, such as Cyclops.

  • Enemies to fight off include thieves and mercenaries. Thieves will steal your resources but will not scare your workers. Mercenaries will scare your workers and cause them to stop working until a warrior fights them off. They will also destroy your buildings if you wait too long

Skills

  • Skills will become available throughout the game

  • Clicking on the skill will allow that skill for a certain amount of time and then the skill will need to be recharged.

  • Clicking on one skill will cause the others to be delayed for a bit.

  • Eventually you will encounter an orb that you can send a worker to for an instant skill recharge for any skills that are currently recharging.
