Ancient Spirits: Columbus' Legacy Review

I decided between studies to review another game. I'm trying to in order as they are released, but I'm a little behind. The game I just tried was Ancient Spirits: Columbus' Legacy. My thoughts? Eh. This is a straight hidden object game, no puzzles, no adventure. Yes, you have to move around the ship, Christopher Columbus' of course, but sparkles lead the way. There a couple of places where you have to use items in your backpack to find a way out, or something, which I guess could be considered a puzzle, but they are extremely easy. In fact, the hidden object areas are extremely easy. I found all the items relatively quickly. The storyline was so-so, I found it a little confusing actually, like some information was missing. The one thing that was intriguing, at first, was the portal into the ghostly realm. The problem, it was exactly the same as un-ghostly realm. Not too exciting. I will say the graphics were pretty good, not spectacular mind you, but pretty good. My final conclusion for this game. Boring. If you want a straight hidden object game that's easy and I'll suspect you can finish in a day, then it's for you. Otherwise, look elsewhere. I give this, two thumbs down.
