Pioneer Lands Review
2011-08-17
Wow! I am so excited! I started my free hour for Pioneer Lands and bought the game before I finished my hour. This is a phenomenal game! At least as far as I am concerned; and if you are like me and love to play My Kingdom for the Princess, Roads of Rome, and other resource management games, then you will flip over this game.

Fate of the Pharaoh Walkthrough
2011-08-13
So reality is kind of hitting hard right now as my son Max starts kindergarten in a month. I just can't believe it and I don't know why I'm whining because it's not like he didn't go to preschool or anything! I don't exactly see my days yawning out in front me as there are always plenty of games to play and even "real work," as I like to say, to start back into now that my days are my own.

Pahelika: Revelations Interview
2011-07-31
What's that you say? You want me to interview another game developer? Me? Little old me?! Well you had me at interview... Time for another of Morgan's red carpet appearances. What to wear this time? Hmmmm yes! I'll be wearing my fabulous lavender gown I wore for senior prom. OK...so I can't seem to zip it up all the way… and some of the sequins came off. But the show must go on! My adoring fans need me! Some safety pins and duct tape and I'm good to go!

F.A.C.E.S. Walkthrough
2011-07-30
Greetings fellow gamers, I'm Lucy Katherine, or "Kat". Yes, I adore kats - well, cats. I'm Anne's good friend and college roommate and of course, younger sister to her boyfriend, Curtis. I hail from Pennsylvania, but attend college in Southern California. My brother, who is a total prat - yes, I love British slang, accents, and it all started with Harry Potter, but I digress - is supposed to be dating Anne. You know, one of those long distance relationships that always work out? Not! Anyway, he was school with us to be close to Anne and I, but has suddenly decided to transfer back to Pennsylvania. Sounds fishy to me and I aim to find out why. Enough about him and more about me.

Youda Farmer 3: Seasons Walkthrough
2011-07-30
Youda Farmer 3: Seasons is yet another fun installment in the Youda Farmer series. In this version, you will be building up the farms and village while experiencing the change of seasons. I have always liked the scenery in Youda Farmer and looking at the gadgets that are made to increase productivity, so this is cool because you get to watch the farm and village progress through the seasons, thus the name.

Hide and Secret: The Lost World Review
2011-07-20
My mother wants me to go out and cut the lawn. So naturally, I'm up in my room procrastinating…. Have you seen what the weather is like these days… no way do I want to go out there in the middle of the day in this heat and mow the lawn. I have very fair skin, and I'll burn to a crisp in 5 minutes.

Julia's Quest: United Kingdom Review
2011-07-19
This is a classic Match 3 with a variety of layouts. The colors really pop and the puzzle pieces are a nice variation on the classic style. It would be nice to see additional features such as a prize or an explosion if you get 5 of the same tiles in a row.

Tearstone Walkthrough
2011-07-11
Well, as you know… I recently became a bit obsessed with the game Tearstone ever since they let me interview the developers… so it should come as no surprise that I decided to do the guide for it since I was playing it in all my free time anyway.

Nightmare Realm Collector's Edition Walkthrough
2011-07-09
Hello! I've been pretty busy here on the ranch. Dad had me out checking fences and making sure none of the cattle had strayed or gotten hurt. While I would rather have been playing this game, at least I got to see some beautiful countryside, aside from that cow smell, and on horseback no less! After a nice, hot, sweaty, smelly ride at least I could jump in the lake, literally, with Jasper and Xavier to cool off.

The Witch and The Warrior Walkthrough
2011-07-06
I eased my way back into reality this past week by playing an absolutely wonderful RPG game, The Witch and The Warrior. It was a rude awakening leaving my beach and heading back to work and hauling my kids to their summer activities, so this bit of non-reality was quite welcome. Since I had thoroughly enjoyed my first foray into this game genre while playing Eridani's Ella's Hope, I was very excited to discover that The Witch and The Warrior had been released.

Tales From The Dragon Mountain: The Strix Review
2011-07-01
While Jasper was driving us to San Benito County Fairgrounds to the annual Bolado Park rodeo, I decided to use my laptop to review a new game called, Tales from the Dragon Mountain: The Strix by Cateia Games.

The Microbie Story Review
2011-07-01
This past week Anne and I went down to the San Benito County Fairgrounds to the annual Bolado Park rodeo. The ranch is a great place to live but it’s always nice to get out and see some new faces.

The Timebuilders: Caveman's Prophecy Walkthrough
2011-06-23
So this week I am having fun! I am at the beach and playing games with an awesome ocean view. And not only am I on vacation at an awesome location but I'm playing an absolutely awesome game, The Timebuilders: Caveman's Prophecy. The Timebuilders series are resource management games in the same vein as My Kingdom for the Princess and Roads of Rome.

Drawn: Dark Flight Walkthrough
2011-06-22
Hey Gamers! I just finished Drawn: Dark Flight and it's near perfection! However, I'm afraid my chores, boyfriend, and other things got left in the dust just a bit while I was absorbed, okay obsessed, with this game!

Super Granny 6 Walkthrough
2011-06-17
Super Granny is back in another adventure. This time she heads into a prehistoric world to save her kitties from danger. Super Granny 6 is a wonderful addition to the Super Granny franchise. In this edition, Granny will fend off dinosaurs and other unusual animals in various prehistoric environments. The biggest change to the prior games is the addition of multiple screens in many of the levels. This packs that much more fun and challenge into many of the levels.

Tearstone Interview with Dragon's Eye Studio
2011-06-15
Ok. I have found a new game to obsess about. After Tiny Bang Story, I felt like I needed to throw myself into something that could promise me a story I could sink my teeth into and forget the long days of working my summer job slinging mayonnaise at the deli. Something different than the normal games I play. That's when I stumbled upon Tearstone.

The Tiny Bang Story Review
2011-06-13
Phew… this summer has been incredibly busy so far for me and we're only in June… I think I had more time for myself during school! My family and I just got back from a fun, if exhausting, trip to South Carolina for my grandparent's 50th wedding anniversary. The entire family was there… I feel like I've been hugging and kissing people I don't really know all weekend… oh wait, I was! Ha! It was really fun though, and it was nice to see my grandparents so happy surrounded by all their kids and grandkids.

Alien Hallway Review
2011-06-11
There were a couple "guy friendly" casual releases this week, including Empires and Dungeons 2 and Alien Hallway. I played them both and Alien Hallway was easily the most fun to play. Empires of Dungeons 2 was a little underwhelming - I was hoping the dungeon crawl aspect would be more sophisticated, more like the game FATE, but instead it is just text-based with static graphics. I would rate this game a 2 out of 5.

Drawn: The Painted Tower Walkthrough
2011-06-09
Hey gamers! It's been so rainy here that there wasn't much to do, besides chores. During my spare time I decided to write a guide, of course. I was going through some old games I had purchased and Drawn: The Painted Tower caught my eye. I decided to try it and as soon as I started it I couldn't believe that I hadn't played it yet! Or better yet, written a guide! So, that's what I did!

Casual Game Guides at E3 2011
2011-06-08
Casual Game Guides took a trip to E3 this year to give you coverage of the gaming industry's largest annual event. The focus of E3 is all about the blockbuster core games such as Call of Duty Modern Warfare or Lord of the Rings War in the North. Oh and there was just a little hype over the new Wii console (see a pic of the new controller after the jump). We try to bring the Casual Game perspective, however, hunting out those gems you may find of interest.

Golden Trails 2: The Lost Legacy (Collector's Edition) Review
2011-06-03
I got a chance to play and review Goldeb Trails 2: The Lost Legacy (Collector's Edition).

Princess Isabella: Return of the Curse Walkthrough
2011-05-27
Hey gamers! Home sweet home again! I just got home, fired up my computer, and saw the e-mail announcing the release of Princess Isabella: Return of the Curse and I got really excited! I loved the first game, Princess Isabella: The Witches Curse. I had to purchase the collector's edition, but the guide will still work when the non-collector's edition releases in the near future.

Facebook: Mystery Manor Review
2011-05-22
Yet another hidden object game has come to Facebook. While I love hidden object games, as you know, I'm not sure Facebook is the best medium for them.

Blossom Cheats
2011-05-21
Summer on the ranch... such a contrast from school in Los Angeles. You can actually see the stars here - the smell of the sage brush - I never realized how many memories I have associated with it. Anne and Zavy are both back here as well. I've definitely been more focused on the business side of things and Zavy on the programming side so we haven't had much time to actually write guides these days. But I finally found a game I wanted to do a guide for.

Totem Tribe Gold Walkthrough and Cheats (Extended Edition)
2011-05-20
Have you played Totem Tribe, loved it, and been waiting for a sequel? How about playing an even better version of the original game instead?

Dracula: Love Kills Sneak Peak
2011-05-19
You are not going to believe my luck! I was actually given the opportunity to get a sneak peak at the sequel to one of my favorite games! I am such a nerd for vampire stuff. I still can't get enough, and I can't even tell you how many times I played Dracula: Origin before. I even used it as an excuse when I was taking Victorian Literature to pretend I was "studying" since Bram Stoker was on the reading list.

Dream Chronicles: The Book of Water Walkthrough
2011-05-16
Classes for the semester are finally over! I passed all my classes with flying colors! I've also said goodbye to Lucy, and sadly my boyfriend (and her brother) Curtis and headed home. Curtis will be visiting me this summer and meeting my parents at the ranch. Meanwhile, we'll have to rely on modern technology to keep in touch.

Dragon Keeper Review
2011-05-12
OMG it's finally over! I handed in my last paper, took my last test, and I am free for the summer!!!

Aztec Tribe: New Land Review
2011-05-11
Let's see… should I do my final paper on the Victorian era or should I take a well-deserved break from homework and see what game I want to play today… hmmmm well that's not a choice at all! Viva la procrastination!

Amazonia Walkthrough
2011-05-06
5 Stop the Presses! Clear your schedule. Cancel that pedicure, call the babysitter, order a pizza, and pop open a bottle of wine. You're going to be busy for some time playing this extremely exciting and highly addictive game!

Youda Survivor 2 Walkthrough
2011-05-03
I am happy to announce that one of my favorite games, Youda Survivor, has a sequel! Return to the island where it all began to defeat the pirates who have stolen a sacred talisman.

Rummikub on Facebook Review
2011-05-01
Remember playing the board game Rummikub as a kid? Boy, I do! We would sit around at the ranch, tiles all over the place paying Rummikub, or Rummi for short. The cats would climb up on the table and try and bat the tiles off the table or if we were playing on the floor, run through them at lightening speed messing up the whole game!

Royal Challenge Solitaire Review
2011-05-01
Alright, I ‘ll admit it. I watched the Royal Wedding. O.K. I didn’t get up in the middle of the night but I did tune in to BBC the next day. I thought it was quite grand. The Bride was beautiful, the dress was gorgeous, and my daughter thought it was great that Will and Harry wore their spurs to the ceremony. I am not sure but I think the Queen Mum might have drifted off a few times and what the heck was with Fergie’s daughters? Their hair was a mess. Did they wake up that way and forget to comb it. Don’t they have enough allowance for a hair dresser for cryin’ out loud! Talk about a bad hair day. And how about some of those hats?! Yowsa!!! Somebody played a cruel joke on some of those women. Oh well, that’s entertainment so the song goes. Anyway just in time for the wedding comes Royal Challenge Solitaire. This is a straight up solitaire game. Remove all the cards from the table and proceed to the next level. The graphics are good and you can play with or without music. For each card removed you get 2 dollars. You can earn additional bonuses depending on what kind of sequence you remove the cards. You can make either a row or a royal sequence, thus the title of the game. All the rules of the game are clearly spelled out for you when you use the help button. There are around 100 levels to play so you get a pretty good bang for your buck. If you like solitaire you can’t go wrong on this game! I highly recommend it!

Spirits of Mystery Walkthrough
2011-04-27
Finals are only two weeks away and I have a lot of studying to do between now and then! At least I am finished with my research papers. If only Hidden Object games were a class, I'm sure I'd ace the test on that one!

Garden Dash Review
2011-04-27
Well... Spring break is over, but I just can't seem to get back into the swing of things, so instead of focusing on my school work, I decided to see what games I could play to further procrastinate!

The Fool Walkthrough
2011-04-21
This week I bring you The Fool, a unique little adventure/hidden object game that I really enjoyed.

My Farm Life Walkthrough
2011-04-19
Here is a cute premise for another great farming game. Wannabe actress becomes a star on a reality farming show, "My Farm Life." This is not necessarily a show I would watch, but definitely a game I was happy to play. This game is very similar to Farm Craft and Ranch Rush and should be tried by all computer farmers out there.

Facebook Gardens of Time Review
2011-04-15
The first hidden object game for Facebook has debuted. It is called Gardens of Time. Upon starting the game it will give you three objects. Locate hidden objects across time, collect artifacts to display in your garden, and protect history from sinister forces.

The Treasures of Mystery Island: The Ghost Ship Walkthrough
2011-04-13
The Treasures of Mystery Island: The Ghost Ship was an absolute treat for me to play this week. I was a little concerned about it being too creepy, as some of these Hidden Object games tend to be; but the game was completely devoid of anything scary (unless you consider a lack of real people and ghosts just hanging around wanting a little present creepy).

Jewel Quest Sleepless Star Review
2011-04-13
I haven’t been doing many Match 3 games lately so I gave this one a try. I might as well tell you right now I have no idea what the story line is. In fact, I don’t know why they even have a story in these games. What is the point? I have yet to run into anyone who says they must keep playing a Match 3 because they can’t wait to see what happens next in the story. Of course I could be all wrong about this. If I am, Mia Culpa.

Virtual Villagers 5 Walkthrough
2011-04-12
For the past 2 weeks I have been playing Virtual Villagers 5: New Believers. This is the fifth in the series, and would you believe that I had never played even one of them before? I don't know what rock I've been hiding under, but I sure am glad that I poked my nose out from under it. The dogwoods and azaleas are in bloom in my neck of the woods, and I guess I have spring fever! Since I am not getting a real trip to the tropics anytime soon, I guess Virtual Villagers is as close as I am going to get.

Shades of Death: Royal Blood Cheats and Walkthrough
2011-03-31
The game guide I bring you today is called, Shades of Death: Royal Blood. I would have published it closer to the release date, but I've had a lot of studying to do.

The Timebuilders: Pyramid Rising Cheats and Walkthrough
2011-03-24
Timebuilders: Pyramid Rising is yet another great game in the genre of My Kingdom for the Princess, Roads of Rome, and Royal Envoy. The only drawback to it is that it is too short at only 40 levels. However, this game is fun and a good challenge. Also software developers must have learned from prior games so that you are allowed to get to the next level as long as you finish it. You don't have to get a certain time to move on.

The Serpent of Isis: Your Journey Continues Review
2011-03-21
Beautiful day this morning. How long it will last however no one knows. The weather, like my life, has been very unpredictable lately. I am feeling restless. I want to go on a long trip one minute and never leave home the next. I am going to buy a GPS and go see my girlfriend in Arizona. I have to have a GPS.I have no sense of direction. I can’t find my way out of a parking lot. Of course I will wait until the weather settles....then pack up my little dog Lulu and off we go. Maybe, we’ll see.

Farm Frenzy: Ancient Rome Cheats and Walkthrough
2011-03-12
For some reason I adore the Farm Frenzy series; however, they were getting a bit routine. Farm Frenzy: Ancient Rome is the newest in the series and while most of it is very similar to earlier games, this game mixes it up in a new way to make it more interesting and challenging.
