Magic Encyclopedia Cheats and Walkthrough

Hey all, it's been awhile since my last guide but great news, here's a new one for ya! The game is called Magic Encyclopedia: First Year. If you are a Harry Potter fan, you'll notice the similarities in the academy in the game and Hogwarts. This game was fantastic, it's a little bit puzzle, a little bit hidden object. Think Dream Chronicles. Now its not nearly as hard as Dream Chronicles, but its fun! The graphics are wonderful and the storyline is intriguing, so... if you haven't bought this one yet, do it now, you won't be disappointed! The game guide I wrote is very detailed, every object is circled so no need to use up those hints if you get stuck.

I'm sorry I haven't gotten something out there sooner but classes are keeping me busy. Homework, reports, studying for the upcoming mid-terms, football games... hey, a girl has to have some social life! I hope to start another guide soon in between all of the above, there has been several new HOG released in the past week alone and I plan to pick one of them for my next guide, so keep your eyes peeled!

I'll be seeing you soon and for all those who experience the change of seasons, enjoy Autumn!

Slingo Supreme

I am not a big fan of gambling. I don’t have a problem with other people gambling but I just can’t make myself put money in a slot unless it is going to wash my clothes. The last time I was in Reno was when my youngest daughter got married. The whole family went and we had a wonderful time but I don’t remember anyone spending a lot of time at the tables or slot machines. Anyway that is what my review is about this week. A Combination of slots and Bingo.

I like to play Bingo online once in awhile when I am looking to just pass the time and don’t want to put a lot of thought into playing a game. Slingo Supreme is fun to play. You have a lot of choices for different games. They are all explained to you in great detail so there is no need for me to explain them to you. The graphics are great and of course there is the Devil to deal with to make things interesting. You can play simple games or ones that are a little more complicated. There are three different choices. You can also play against other players. I heard the Honkers coming in from Canada this morning when I was walking the dog so winter weather is on its way. This will be a good game to play on a cold winter day.

The Great Chocolate Chase Review

I'm a huge fan of chocolate and obviously a great fan of casual games. So when the two came together in the Chocolatier games, I was thrilled. They have to be some of my all-time favorite games, and are probably responsible for reeling me into the world of casual games.

So, of course, when The Great Chocolate Chase came out I had to give it a try. This game is a time management game is based on the Chocolatier sim games. Some familiar faces appear in this game, like Evangeline Baumeister, as well as some new friends from around the globe. The graphics are well done. I love how the machines look like they could be from that period even though they are supposed to be futuristic in technology. I also enjoyed the storyline and the way it was presented as entries from Evangeline's journal. The game play is definitely challenging and will keep you on your toes as you try to keep up with all the chocolate orders.

The Great Chocolate Chase is a great game to try if you are a fan of the Chocolatier games, or even just a fan of chocolate. Happy gaming!

Cinema Tycoon 2 Cheats and Walkthrough

Better graphics and sound make this game a worth sequel to the first. And you'll need more ruthless business sense as well. If you played the first, you'll likely enjoy this sequel, and if you've never played before, don't be afraid to start with this title.

Fall is really in the air at our house. The mornings are cold and crisp and make you want to linger over your coffee and watch the news or read the paper. Even though I love the puzzles on my computer I still do the puzzles in the paper. The news has been so depressing lately sometimes that’s all I read in the paper is the puzzles. You better get your thinking cap on for this puzzle boys and girls. It’s fun but it requires all of your attention.

The purpose of the game is to try to make words out of the columns of letters you see on the screen. You can go up down or sideways but the letters have to connect. You can’t use the same letter twice in a row, such as for the word kiss. You get a bonus for using letters that have the flower symbol on them. There is a bonus round in between levels that also gives you extra points if you can solve the puzzle. Also don’t forget to look diagonally for words to spell. There are squares with symbols on them instead of letters and you can use them to fill in any letter you need to spell a word. Jasper tells me they don’t come out with new word games too often, so if you like to spell you better jump on this one.

Crazy Machines Review

I played Crazy Machines while watching some college football. I quickly discovered (even with my formidable brain power) that was not possible. This game sucked me in and once I got past some of the tutorial puzzles it succeeded in challenging me. If you enjoy brain teasers and Rube Goldberg machines, this game is for you.

As a side note, I also tried System Mania. Uh... not what I expected. Nothing remotely having to do with puzzles here. Just a bunch of clicking around. I also didn't like that once I bought an upgrade, I had to keep purchasing it to use it. That's no fun!

4 Elements Review

Last year around this time my son bought me a computer and sent it to me in the mail. My daughter came over and hooked it up for me because I was completely clueless and still am about how to hook one of these things up. Then my son, bless his heart, started to try and teach me how to use it. I don’t know where he gets all his patience but slowly things started to come together. At first I was afraid I would break it if I touched anything but soon I realized it was tougher than I thought. The way I learned was playing games. I learned how to do almost everything I wanted to do because I wanted to play a certain game. So between my son and Casual Games I am expanding my world through the computer. This brings me to this week’s review.

As you know most of my reviews have been Match 3 games. But this week we are playing a match 3 game with more puzzles in it. The game is called 4 Elements. You solve the books of wind, fire, air and water. This game includes Hidden objects, match 3, and find the difference in 2 cards and a lot of little puzzles in the pictures they give you for the hidden objects. Be sure you pay close attention to the clues given you when the game begins. You will need them all to play the game. You get help from the little fairy that pops up on each level but you still need to remember the basics at the beginning of the game. Make sure you include the frozen tiles when you are making a chain in the match 3.

It is a little different than we are used to. Watch the arrows so you know where you must put the energy. Also look for the flaming arrows on the sides of the puzzle. They will help you clear the grid. After you find the hidden pieces you have to put them back in the puzzle and then find the key that unlocks the book before you can go on to the next phase. I don’t see all that well so I just click all over the puzzle till it comes up. Be sure to look carefully at the cards that come up after you finish each match 3 game. You will have to find the difference in 2 cards placed side by side before you can continue. I haven’t finished this game yet but it has been a lot of fun and very challenging so far.

Expand your horizons and give this game a try.

Restoring Rhonda Review

The other game I played this week was called Restoring Rhonda. This is a match 3 game combined with tasks you have to do to refurbish paintings. It is really a lot of fun. As in all match 3 games, start at the bottom of the screen. That way you can break tiles on the top as they are falling. As far as the tasks go I am far from an expert. I found myself laughing out loud trying to get them done. Some of the tasks you will be asked to do include using a needle and thread, tweezers and cloths to clean up spills. I had a ball playing and was sorry when the trial game was over. I would like to have this game for myself to try and upgrade my skills on the computer. This game really helps your coordination and I highly recommend it.
