Chapter 1: The Cottage

1. go forward
2. pick up the pieces of painting around the frame (two on top and one on the bottom-right side)
3. repair the painting
4. enter the painting
5. read the note
6. take the Scrap of Paper
7. pick up the Wooden Bucket and Cottage Key on the edge of the well

1. examine the tree stump
2. click on the empty honey jar - note the "pooh" comment
3. pick up the six pieces of the moon
4. take the Little Moon and the Yellow Stone

1. use the Cottage Key on the cottage door
2. read the note in the blue box on the left
3. take the Blue Stone
4. go forward to the desk
5. pick up the Charcoal from on top of the storybook
6. examine the drawings on the wall
7. click on the push pin
8. put all the pieces back together
9. use the Scrap of Paper from your inventory to complete it
10. use the Charcoal to color in the ravens wing
11. take the Storybook Key
12. take the Metal Pot from above the fireplace
13. look in the fireplace
14. pick up the Iron Tongs and use them to take the Glowing Sun
15. go forward to the desk
16. use the Storybook Key on the storybook
17. Storybook Puzzle
1. pull the first tab and a star appears
2. pull the second tab and the arms and legs of the dragon moves
3. pull the third tab and the light turns on/off in the window and the bucket goes up/down (pig)
4. open up the dragons body between his arms/legs (pig)
5. pull the fourth tab to continue the story
6. flip back the dragons wing (pig)
7. take the Small Star

1. exit the cottage
2. examine the blue gate
3. take the Rope from the hook on the right

1. use the Rope on the tree branch above the well
2. use the Wooden Bucket on the Rope
3. use the Glowing Sun on the Wooden Bucket
4. examine the blue gate
5. Gate Puzzle
1. replace the Glowing Sun, Little Moon, and Small Star
2. rotate the items by clicking the sun or moon so they reflect morning (sun) or night (moon)
3. solution (highlight to see): Sun = Sundial, Rainbow, Pancakes, Flower; Moon = Bed, Star, Owl, Candle; Middle = Rooster
4. see video for solution

1. go through the gate
2. examine the canvas
3. pick up the Red Stone
4. take the Sharp Stick (tree branch)
5. look in the box and read the note
6. take the Empty Palette and Linseed Oil
7. go down
8. examine the tree stump
9. use the Sharp Stick to loosen the beeswax and pick it up

1. Beeswax Mini Game
1. move the beeswax back and forth over the jar
2. watch for the small drips and aim for the jar
2. take the Hardened Beeswax
3. go inside the cottage
4. look inside the fireplace
5. put the Metal Pot above the fire
6. place the Hardened Beeswax inside the pot
7. take out Softened Beeswax
8. go forward to the desk
9. Paint Puzzle
1. place the Red, Blue, and Yellow Stones in their respective bowls - top to bottom = blue, red, yellow
2. place the Empty Palette in the back
3. place the Linseed Oil in the top-right hole
4. place the Softened Beeswax inside the bottom-right hole
5. use the white pestle to crush each colored stone three times 
6. click the blue powder
7. use the linseed oil on the blue powder
8. use the wax on the blue powder
9. use the palette knife to combine everything
10. continue to to this for red and yellow
11. combine the following powders: blue and red, blue and yellow, red and yellow
12. repeat the process each time
10. receive the Palette of Paint
11. return to the hillside
12. examine the canvas
13. Panting Puzzle
1. place the Palette of Paint by the painting
2. paint the picture just like the hillside
3. Cardinal = Red; Butterflies and Hillside = Orange; Path = Yellow; Flowers = Purple; Stems = Green, Stones = Blue

1. go forward up the path
2. examine the base of the middle stone by the tree roots
3. pick up the Storybook Page

1. Storybook Puzzle
1. pull the first tab all the way down
2. click the two ravens on the top two side tabs - one will drop a gem
3. pull the tab on the moon - another gem will drop
4. now pull all the side tabs all the way to the right
5. pull the rake right/left (pig)
6. pick back the fall leaves on the side
7. pull back the fall leaves on the top (pig)
8. pick up the two Green Stones
9. make a note of the numbers and symbols they equal
10. you can turn the tree roots (pig)
11. the moon turns all the way round

1. examine the tall stone on the right
2. make a note of the numbers and symbols they equal and the reference to the green stones
3. examine the stone in the middle by the tree roots
4. Stone Puzzle
1. place the Green Stones in the holes on each side
2. five dots will light up below
3. remember the symbol from the storybook that equaled five
4. place that symbol in an "X" pattern (to match the five dots)
5. repeat the process for all the numbers
