General Tips for Playing Aveyond 2
Save Your Game Often - We can't stress this enough. Keep saving your game to avoid the tragedy of having to go back and repeat a whole section in case you make a mistake or the power goes out. To save, simply hit the ESC button to open the character menu and the click save. Once you save the game, hit ESC again to return to the game.
Levels of Difficulty - There are three levels of difficulty. Easy, normal, and expert. If you're new to the game or RPGs in particular, it is recommended that you start on easy. The monsters will be easier to defeat and once you level, your health and magic will be replenished. If you're familiar with RPG games, then you might want to play on normal or hard for an extra challenge.
Walking Around - You can either use your mouse by left-clicking on the area you want to move to or use your arrow keys on your keyboard to make your character walk around.
Character Menu - You can either hit the ESC button or right-click your mouse to open your character menu. Hit ESC or right-click again to close the menu.
Journal - Your journal will keep track of all your quests in Aveyond 2. To access it, simply right click to get to the character menu and then click on Journal.
Items - This will list all the items you currently have in your inventory.
Skills - Your skills menu will show the skills for each party member. Click on a party member to view their skills.
Equip - To equip items, click on the equip menu item and then click on the party member. You will then see each item that character has currently equipped and be able to change items.
Party - This will show you all the party members currently in your party and let you choose which characters are active party members.
Leader - This will show you who the party leader is at the time and allow you to change it.
Profiles - This will show you a little about the characters background and their current stats.
Remember to talk to everyone and explore everywhere to pick up side quests and find hidden chests.
Level up - It's a good idea to level your characters to make fighting bosses easier. Monster will respawn if you leave and reenter an area so you can use this strategy to gain experience points.
