General Tips: Workers can be assigned only after they have completed a job. Luckily they do not need to return to their home to do so. They will hang out for just a short period of time waiting for a new assignment before heading back. All materials need to be picked up but fortunately you just have to move your cursor over the supplies, no clicking. Berries are available five to a bush but are picked individually. Two wood are available from each tree chopped down. Gold piles also hold five gold available individually. None of these require food input. Factories need to actually be staffed to use them. After repairing or upgrading, you need to remember to staff them, which can be difficult to do because this is somewhat different.
