Dragon Dash Review

Dragon Dash Review

In Dragon Dash, help Drake the dragon race through the skies to collect magical gems.

I admit, what drew me to the game Dragon Dash at first wasn't that it looked like it was going to be an amazing game, but the rather the derpy little face of the Drake the Dragon.

The little guy looked so happy, I just had to see what that was all about. And so began my little adventure with Dragon Dash.

Dragon Dash Title

Dragon Dash is a cute little game, with the simple purpose of collecting gems. It is somewhat like Flappy Bird, where you just try to last as long as you can.

Instead of pipes though, there are birds that fly at different speeds that you will need to avoid. Dodging them is not too difficult and even if you hit one, it’s okay, because you have three lives.

In addition to the gems, letters will sometimes fly out and once you collect all of them they spell the word “DASH.” Once you get Dash Status, you will rocket forth in an invincible state for about five seconds.

During this time, you will collect all the gems and destroy all the birds that go by. After it is done, you keep collecting the gems and letters until you run out of lives.

The graphics of Dragon Dash are fairly simply but pleasant. The colors were bright and eye catching.

The birds seemed like they were in a loop animation, but it was okay because they were on the screen for only about two seconds.

The thing that really caught my eye was the glitter coming out of the dragon’s backside. All it did was follow the dragon but it had quite a few colors; almost like his own little rainbow following him at all times.

Overall, Dragon Dash was a cute little game that was able to hold my attention with it's addicting gameplay. Not to mention, who could ever get bored when you had that adorable derpy dragon face to look at all the time!
