League of Legends Review
2012-04-30
Lately, I’ve been playing Riot Games’ League of Legends, a free real-time strategy MMO that’s been around for a couple years now. I’d say it qualifies as a casual MMO in that it is simple to learn and play, and the game rounds are short (20 minutes or so), which is one reason I like it. It doesn’t take a huge investment like other MMOs, and if you have a half hour here or there, you can squeeze a game in. The game is inspired by Warcraft III (yes, the game preceding World Of Warcraft).

Weather Lord Review
2012-04-29
Well, it’s a lazy Sunday here. The house is comfortably quiet, and all I hear is the murmur of the TV from the other room where Max is playing his Wii games. So, I thought I would take this moment to quickly pop on and try out the latest builder / time management game called Weather Lord.
It seemed like an interesting premise. Controlling the weather and all that, and it made for quite a nice morning, as I sipped my tea and controlled the clouds, sun, and rain in order to help my farms grow.

Dark Dimensions: Wax Beauty Review
2012-04-28
Well, college is over, and now it’s time to just sit around and face my social demise. I guess I’m going back to live with my parents in Pennsylvania once graduation is over. Anyhow, you can imagine my relief when I saw that Dark Dimensions Wax Beauty came out the other day. Thank goodness. Something creepy and delightfully macabre I can sink my teeth into and ignore the rest of my problems.
Seriously? A town filled to the brim with creepy wax figures staring at you with empty eyes? Where do I sign up?
