Dark Arcana: The Carnival: Chapter One: The Carnival

Our Dark Arcana The Carnival Walkthrough will keep you company as you investigate the dark alternate dimension that lurks behind the Hall of Mirrors and is home to the being known only as The Evil One. Use our detailed screenshots and step-by-step instructions to find your way between this dark world and our reality, save Susan Jones, and stop the evil one from breaking his chains and invading our world!


Meeting the Girl

  • Click on the little girl to talk to her.
  • Take the photo when she hands it to you. It will be added to your Diary.
  • Click on the posters on the wall to look at them. This will show you the Carnival's main attractions.
  • Click on the bird for fun. It will make it fly away and then fly back. Yes, I'm easily entertained.
  • Go forward into the carnival.
     

Manager

  • Click on the man at the door.
  • He will throw the handle on the roof and run away.
  • How rude!
     

Ticket Booth Hidden Object Game

  • Click on the poster on the wall.
  • Notice the old poster.
  • Click on the Ticket booth.
  • This will start a hidden object game.
     

Hidden Object Game

  • Hidden Object games are going to be random in this game, so I'll mark the ones on my list in blue and mark the item that will be added in pink.
  • Find all the items on your list.
  • You will receive the BUTTON.
     

Zorlax Machine

  • Click on the Zorlax Fortune Teller Machine on the left to zoom in.
  • Click on the area where it says 5 cents to zoom in.
  • Use the BUTTON on the coin slot.
  • Take the COIN.
  • Click on the fortune to read it.
  • Go forward to the Square.
     

The Square

  • Click on the shooting gallery to zoom in.
  • Take the HAMMER.
  • Click on the claw machine on the right to zoom in.
  • Use the COIN on the slot.
  • This will start a mini-game.
     

Banana

  • The goal of the game is to get the banana.
  • Use the arrows to position the claw over the banana.
  • Click on the red button. It's as easy as that.
  • Take the PLUSH BANANA.
     

Monkey

  • Click on the monkey to zoom in.
  • Use the PLUSH BANANA on him.
  • This will calm him down so you can access his foot where the chain is.
  • Click on the foot to zoom in and then click on the chain a few times to take it off.
  • Congratulations. You now have a monkey. He will help you out throughout the game.
     

Key Monkey

  • Let's try that monkey out.
  • Click on the gate to zoom in.
  • Click on the monkey and then click on the key on the ground.
  • The monkey will get it for you.
  • Click to take the GATE KEY.
  • Go back one screen.
     

Monkey Handle

  • Click on the roof of the managers office to zoom in on that handle up there.
  • Use the monkey on the handle.
  • Take the DOOR HANDLE.
     

Door Handle

  • Click on the door of the managers office to zoom in.
  • Use the DOOR HANDLE on the door.
  • This will start a mini-game.
     

Door Puzzle

  • The goal of the game is to put all the objects back in the right scene. There are 4 scenes in total. Clicking on the handle will reveal the next two scenes.
  • Take the Stilt Walkers Leg in the top right screen and put it in the bottom right scene.
  • Click the handle.
  • Put the ball under the elephant.
  • Use the needle to pop the balloon.
  • Give the acrobat the swing.
  • Click the handle.
  • Put the eye in the door.
  • Put the rabbit in the hat.
  • Put the dumb bell on the weight lifter.
  • Click the handle.
  • Use the match on the cannon.
  • Give the sword swallower the sword.
  • Use the cake on the clown.
  • Click the handle.
  • Use the key on the box.
  • Use the juggling pin on the juggler.
  • The screenshot above show the completed puzzle.
  • Go in the office when you're done.


Managers Office

  • Click on the mirror on the wall to watch a cutscene.
  • Click on the desk to zoom in.
  • Take the TICKETS.
  • Click on the book to open it. (If you're playing on the iPad, the key to the cabinet is in the book, flip through the pages a few times to find it)
  • Click again to read about Jim and Alice.
  • Click on the newspaper to learn that Jim has opened the carnival.
  • Click on the wall a few times and you will get the carnival map.
  • Click on the cabinet to open it, then click again to zoom in.
  • Take the FIRST TEETH PANEL.
  • Take note of the awards and the one that's missing.
  • Go back to the square.
     

Hall of Mirrors

  • Click on the Hall of Mirrors door.
  • Use the TICKETS on the ticket taker to open the door.
  • Enter the Hall of Mirrors.
