Hidden Magic Review

Oh magical fairy dust… won’t you please send me some kind of magical being, preferable someone who is an expert on British Literature, who will write my 20 page paper that’s due next week… thanks, Morgan.
Well, that’s taken care of so I figured while I’m waiting for my paper to be written I’ll play a game or two. Hmmmm what to play… well how about a little Hidden Magic? A dark and sinister force? Evil kidnappers? Sure, why not! I need to sharpen my hidden object game skills anyhow.
Ok, so here we go. My beloved has been kidnapped by goblins and it’s up to me to save him… cool I love trying to rescue the helpless male in the story. I am an alchemist and I need to gather ingredients to cast my spells. Interesting…
First level was pretty much like any other hidden object game. I squinted and found all the tiny pieces that I could… may have used a hint or two… just to see how it worked of course. But the next level had a surprise for me. I was in a battle sequence! I had to fight a monster with my magic! However, in order to cast my spells, I needed to collect items to put in my cauldron.
You have a choice of three spells, and each one has a list of ingredients. You have to quickly find the ingredients for the spell and then cast it on the monster. Keep this up until the baddie is dead and then keep on trucking through the forest!
Levels switch between finding spells in magical places with normal hidden object scenes to these battles, which I have to say are super fun, although I was playing on easy and the attack meter of the monster goes slowly… plus I can’t die. The normal mode is a lot more challenging, however, I like to take things a little easier… I have enough stress in my life thank you very much.
So overall… yes, this was a fun and entertaining evening… much better than writing a paper… speaking of… I wonder if that’s done yet? I’m going to go grab a slice of pizza and check it out. » Hidden Magic Cheats, Walkthrough, & Forum |

Princess Isabella A Witch's Curse Cheakts and Walkthrough

What can I say about this game that hasn't already been covered in the previous review? Well, I'll give you my thoughts. I loved it! The graphics were very good, the sound excellent, the story intriguing, and not too easy, not too hard. Now the little fairy that helps you has a slightly annoying voice after awhile. She likes to exclaim, "You've broken the curse, yeah!" Cute at first, but over and over, oi. I kept expecting her to say, in a very valley girl voice, "You've like totally solved the curse, like you know!" She never did. Anyway... other than that. Read the previous review and I hope this guide helps you! My next endeavor, even though I should be focusing on those papers, is... Hidden Expedition: Devil's Triangle. What can I say, I can never pass up a good Hidden Expedition game! I'm still waiting on the third installment to Women's Murder Club, and once that comes out, there will be a guide following! » Princess Isabella: A Witch's Curse Cheats, Walkthrough, & Forum |

Where does the time go?! October seemed like a blur and we’re already close to mid November! This is the time we take a moment to look back at some of the fantastic games that came out last month. Here’s our list of the top five games that were released in October. If you missed any one of these games, now’s the time to take a moment and see the exciting game play you missed out on!
1. Hidden Expedition: Devil’s Triangle. Have you ever wondered what was deep within the Bermuda Triangle? Where here’s your chance to find out with this spectacular hidden object game. The game begins with a ace pilot crashing somewhere within the triangle’s hidden depths. Then they send you and your partner Emily to search for this missing pilot. Aboard the rickety old submarine, you travel to the Bermuda Triangle only to find danger lurking around every corner. From strange energy fields to pirates to a strange village of misfits who have found their way to a hidden island somewhere within the Devil’s Triangle. It’s up to you and your wits to find a way out for you and your partner and discover what happened to the missing pilot!
2. Avenue Flo. Flo is at it again, but this time in an adventure game to help her friend Quinn save the biggest wedding of the year. But everything has gone wrong! Is someone trying to sabotage this joyous event? It’s up to Flo to help out where she is needed from helping put beads on the wedding dress, to finding the butterflies that escaped, to getting snookums hair back to its normal color. This exciting game has something for everyone with hidden objects to find, puzzles to solve, and a mystery to uncover. Some of the puzzles can be challenging, but with a helpful hint or two, you won’t be stuck for long. Travel from town to town by subway helping your friends and saving this wedding!
3. Big City Adventure: New York City. This exciting game lets you explore the beautiful city of New York and locate very challenging hidden objects. It takes a sharp eye to find every item for each board. Thank goodness there are hint coins you can find along the way. The boards are also timed though so you need to think fast and find everything before the time runs out. Need some extra time? Search for the time bonus coins, which will add more time to the clock and give you some breathing room. If you’re looking for a challenging hidden object game, Big City Adventure: New York City is the destination you seek!
4. Sally’s Quick Clips. Sally’s celebrating her last successful venture in the spa business and as she’s reminiscing, she remembers where she began 10 years ago when she was cutting hair for a living. This game takes us back to that beginning point when Sally was competing on the game show to win the money to start her own business. A match 3 game combined with a time management game, this hair stylist has some challenges to overcome. While performing the many different requests at the salon, you have to play a match 3 game to build up enough points for you to be able to give haircuts, dye jobs, and shampoos. But don’t let your customers wait too long or they’ll be out the door before you can say hair dryer.
5. Puppetshow: Mystery of Joyville. Talk about a creepy game… Mystery of Joyville will send shivers down your spine as you investigate the case of the missing boy Simon. As your investigation continues, you soon discover that there’s more to Joyville than meets the eye. People have been disappearing and there are mechanical wonders throughout the town that are now rusted from misuse. Years ago, a famous puppet master moved to town and opened a show full of his creations. But a fire consumed most of the theater, and many people including the puppet master lost their lives. Now the town is supposedly haunted by the ghost of the puppet master, lurking in the darkness. It’s up to you to solve this spine-tingling mystery and bring the town of Joyville back to life. |

Delicious Emily’s Taste of Fame Review
|
By

Thanksgiving… I’m counting the days until I can finally board that plane and come home to my mother’s home-cooked meals. I’m dreaming of roast turkey, sausage stuffing, and sweet potato pie. My mouth is watering right now I’m so hungry… and all I have is a bag of ramen that I’m eating raw. Ummmm tasty.
Anyhow, I stayed up half the night finishing up a paper so I decided to treat myself today by playing Delicious Emily’s Taste of Fame… wonder why that caught my eye… lol. Anyhow for all your gamers who enjoy a good time management game, this is worth your time. But don’t even bother with the beginner level. It was way too easy. The good news is that you can change your settings as you play so I quickly moved it up to normal once I figured out what I was supposed to do.
Emily is the main character and she is going to be on her very own cooking show… however, while she was driving out to the studio, her car crashed and now she has no money to tow it. Lucky for her there is a diner down the street with a nice old lady who offers her a job. Emily’s traveling partner and friend Francois doesn’t seem too concerned, however, as he is never around to help in the kitchen. All he does is use his artistic style to decorate the old place.
So here you are, in the kitchen of a real diner, and working to get from one place to another. The first 10 days you spend at the diner, and each day offers a new challenge. Not only do you run around cooking and waiting on tables, but you also take care of phone orders, drive thru orders, and counter orders. Each table has to be cleaned and the money collected. There’s quite a selection of food to serve too, so that can be exciting when you’re trying to fill all the orders. Some days too there are extra challenges, such as when a woman breaks her pearl necklace and needs you to find all the pearls as you work. There’s also a mouse that lives in the diner and if you catch him, you get an extra 100 points added to your total.
So far it’s pretty entertaining and much better than doing homework. Just a few more weeks and I’m home for a nice relaxing time on the farm with the family. Ok well… I don’t expect it to be that relaxing since my family is pretty crazy… but well whose family isn’t, right? Until next time! » Delicious: Emily's Taste of Fame Cheats, Walkthrough, & Forum |

Reincarnations: The Awakening Review
|

I know everyone does not believe in reincarnation but I find it fascinating. Haven’t you ever been traveling to a place you have never been to in your whole life and all of a sudden things start to look familiar to you? The hair stands up on the back of your neck and you are absolutely sure you know a house or some other building or field - that you must have been there before because it feels so familiar. I have and it is a very disturbing. You rack your brain and try to recall, but it never comes to you. It always makes me wonder if I lived before and if I did what was I. Boy or girl, rich or poor or maybe an animal of some kind. Will I ever know? Probably not. But our character in this game is lucky and gets to find out. Jane is a copywriter who usually writes about fashion and make-up. However she is desperate to expand her work to other areas and gets her big chance when a big name magazine offers her a job writing about Reincarnation. She does the research, gets the statistics and the illustrations. But she has a problem because she hasn’t any personal experience to draw from. What is a girl to do? Then just in the nick of time along comes the very odd Dr. Herzel . What luck! He informs her that he will be able to help her experience reincarnations and not only that she will be able to find out what she did in her past lives. Naturally, our adventurous girl can’t turn this down and the story begins. I like the way this hidden object game plays out. The objects are clear and bright, you can get hints as many times as you need them, and there are lots of puzzles. Some of them pretty easy and some pretty hard. But you can skip these if you get stuck or are in a rush. If I skip puzzles one time I try and solve them the next time I play. Jane gets 5 previous lives to explore. I am not going to tell you about them. You will find out when you play the game. I tried the test and then bought the game. I feel it is a game that I will play often and get my moneys worth. » Reincarnations: The Awakening Cheats, Walkthrough, & Forum |

Kelly Green Garden Queen Review
|

Move over Farmville, Kelly Green Garden Queen is going to give you a run for your money! This awesome farm game kind of rocks hard core. As some of you may remember, my family owns a farm so I know all about milking cows and getting up early. Did you know that cows weigh a ton? True story, my uncle was milking one once and somehow he got his finger under a cow hoof… smashed the top part of his finger right off. He now has about a quarter of his pinky missing… talk about gross. Anyhow enough gory farm stories and back to the game… you are Kelly Green, and you realize your city life as a chef just isn't for you, so when you learn you just inherited your grandfather's nursery, you quickly pack your bags and ship out. The nursery specializes in providing organic flowers and herbs to local stores and restaurants. You also have a farm stand where customers stamp their feet and wait for the flowers to grow… ok obviously that part is not realistic. So things are OK at first, but then you get the oh so annoying cow and you call in your brother for reinforcements. So now there are two of you running around trying to get things down. You have to place the pots down, put soil in them, plant the seeds, water, and harvest as quickly as you can. Oh and take care of the cow at the same time. A word of advice… buy the upgrades as soon as possible. They will be an ginormous help to you as your run around trying to get everything done. Especially the bigger water tank. Every time you have to fill your water tank, you have to waste precious moments as it fills up. Later on, you get even more help as you progress though the seasons and have to worry about crows and bugs and such. It can be challenging keeping track of everyone, but the good news is that you can store flowers in your shed so you can fill orders quickly when they come in. Just keep stock piling everything in the shed… they don't seem to die, which is amazing… Wish real farming would be this easy… Oh well… schools going ok. Can't wait till Thanksgiving. I think I might have mentioned that before. From what mom says, it's pretty cold in Jersey… so I guess I'm not missing that. Also… hockey started… so besides the food issue… I'm sailing through the semester… well maybe not sailing… more like rowing… maybe I should play less and study more? Naaaaa…. » Kelly Green Garden Queen Cheats, Walkthrough, & Forum |

Fishdom Spooky Splash Review
|

Well I have played all 3 of the Fishdom series games and they are all pretty good games. The first one was strictly Match 3 and you were limited to decorating one fish tank. Next came Fishdom H20 which was a hidden object game. I was born on Halloween so this one is my favorite so far. This one is back to the match 3 style and earning cash to decorate your fish tank, however this time you can buy and decorate as many tanks as you want. Some of the boards and decorations are Halloween themed but they are not very scary or spooky, just cute. As with most match 3 games you have special effects with dynamite and lighting rods to make things even more fun. There are frozen tiles that have to be broken twice and a lot more things to keep the game interesting but not too complicated. The further you go in the game the harder it gets. But you earn more money for the harder matches and that gives you more cash to shop and keep up your tanks.
I definitely appreciate that you can now buy and decorate as many tanks as you want. This game has no set ending so that means you get a lot of bang for your buck. Plus you get a screensaver for your desktop. The graphics are super, cute fish swimming by with colorful decorations. Fun, Fun, Fun. Sit back play this game and watch the rain come down. » Fishdom - Spooky Splash Cheats, Walkthrough, & Forum |

Cake Mania Main Street Review
|
By
morgan

Hello? Is there anybody out there? Why are they teasing me with games about food? It really is getting too much to handle… Do you know what I would do for a slice of cake around here? One that was homemade and not stale from being left out for two days in a row? Ummmm I’m pretty sure if I didn’t eat that cake yesterday, I’m certainly not going to eat it today… especially since I recognize that crooked flower that someone poked their finger in.
Anyhow… still hanging in here at school… unlike all the other people around here, it’s not so easy for me to go back home when we have a day or two break. I’d spend most of the trip on the plane… although I’m thinking it might be worth it if I could just make it for dinner. Can’t wait till Thanksgiving break. I plan to eat myself into a food coma.
Speaking of food… I started playing the new Cake Mania game that just came out. It’s pretty cool. The one thing I really liked about it was that you aren’t just making cakes in one store. You are responsible for bringing new life back into Bakersfield’s Main Street. The big bad super store has driven out all the old businesses and the town has become dessert… I mean deserted.
Of course you start out making cakes, but then you quickly move on to all different kinds of burgers and flowers and so on. As you make money, you can buy things for all of your stores and upgrade them to fix up the town. You can also buy attractions to liven up the town. Unlike some time management games that can get boring because you are doing the same thing over and over again, Cake Mania: Main Street lets you move from store to store depending on whichever one you feel like working in.
I do have one tiny complaint, however, about this game. The speed… there are times when it is so slow, especially in the beginning before you can upgrade your equipment. Sometimes when I’m wrapping the flowers, I want to go take a nap… that’s how long it seems to take. So here’s a tip if you want to avoid waiting forever, save your money and buy the upgrades that accelerate the process for you. You’ll be happy you did.
Of course, I wind up playing these games late at night after homework and studying is done for the day, so when it’s 1 am in the morning and I’m making burgers in the game, it makes me extremely hungry… I wonder if my RA would notice a Foreman Grill in my room… hmmmm now there’s a great idea. I let you know how that works out. Till next time! » Cake Mania Main Street Cheats, Walkthrough, & Forum |
