Overview: In this sequel to The Clumsys, grandpa and his time machine are at it again! This time grandpa has changed time by bringing back a single, dead, prehistoric butterfly. It's up to you (or his daughter Helen) to fix it! Get ready to go back in time!

Note: This guide starts AFTER the tutorial finishes!

Hidden Objects: There will be a series of boxes along the top with hidden objects you need to find. Not all can be found right away, but must be unlocked.

Hidden Object Areas: Besides the main area, there will be other hidden object areas. These will "sparkle" with white dots.

Hints: These are unlimited but once you use one you have to wait for it to "fill up" to use it again.

Hot Spots: These are indicated by a blue glow and gears (cursor).

Gadgets: Some hidden objects will be used to build a gadget. You can click the "gadget area" in the lower, right corner to see what you are building.

·         X-Ray – Quickly highlights a few items and you must try and remember where they were.

·         Fire – Removes shadows and highlights important items with fire.

·         Time Sight – When activated it will show you what the scene will look like when it is finished. (not very helpful)

Assembled Objects: The bottom row of boxes show items that need to be assembled, this is accomplished by finding hidden objects. These will be used to unlock objects and finish tasks. You will have to pick up the assembled item and click on a hot spot. Looking for the matching numbers on the screenshots.

Improper Items: Once you have completed a level, you may need to find the "modern items" that appear in the scene. We can't leave them behind in history!

1928: Invention of Penicillin

1.       collect the objects

2.       examine the cabinet

3.       use the saw to on the refrigerator lock

4.       collect the objects

5.       use the glove/scalpel on the back of the fridge

6.       finish assembling the microscope

1888: The Movie Projector

1.       collect the objects from the main area and the other two (2) areas

2.       open the cabinet and collect the items

3.       rebuild the movie projector

4.       return to the editing table

5.       place the pictures on the table

6.       the negatives are now unlocked – pick them up

7.       go back to the other table (where the light is shining)

8.       place the negatives

9.       time to put the negatives in order

1877: The First Phonograph

1.       collect the objects in the main area and other two (2) areas

2.       rebuild the phonograph

1826: The Combustion Engine

1.       collect the items in both areas

2.       open the gear box with the key

3.       collect the items

4.       replace the gears (found in another area) – they must be placed in order

5.       reassemble the engine

1879: Invention of the Light Bulb

1.       collect the objects in

2.       click on the safe – puzzle

·         install the listening device

·         click the top circle and watch the meter

·         when the meter spikes into the red you have the correct number

·         do this for all three (3) circles

·         solution (top – middle): 1, 2, 3

3.       find the items

4.       examine the cupboard

5.       pick up the lock

6.       use the key to unlock the cupboard

1838: Invention of the Telegraph

Fuel Refill

1.       guide the different colored balls to their right tubes at the bottom

2.       turn the joints left/right to guide the balls in different directions

3.       if it hits an end with yellow arrows, it will come back out the other side

1.       find the items in both areas

2.       use the ladder to reach the shelf in the back

4.       use the crowbar on the crate
