Stray Souls: Stolen Memories Walkthrough: Title Screen

Opening Story:

In Stray Souls: Stolen Memories, you play Rose, a woman whose husband disappeared a year ago under mysterious circumstances. While celebrating your daughter's birthday, you witness a strange video on the TV showing your husband at a motel, the very same motel your daughter has been dreaming about. Determined to get to the bottom of this, you and your daughter Julie, make your way to the motel, searching for answers. However, while digging through clues, your daughter is taken from you, and you have no choice but to follow her through a strange doorway leading to a twisted, creepy world. Now, you must gather your courage and press on in your search as you dodge knives, horrifying clowns, and strange dolls as you attempt to rescue your family from this terrifying nightmare. General Tips for Stray Souls: Stolen Memories

Difficulty - Two modes: Casual and Expert. In Casual Mode, sparkles will indicate active areas, and the hint and skip buttons take 30 seconds to charge. In Expert Mode, there are no sparkles and the hint and skip buttons take 2 minutes to charge.

Hand - When your cursor turns into a hand, it means you can pick up an object or interact with it in some way.

Magnifying Glass - When your cursor turns into a magnifying glass, it means you can zoom in and take a closer look on an area

Journal - Your Journal can be found in the lower right hand corner of your screen. Game notes and observations that you make throughout the adventure can be found here. You can also access your map from your Journal.

Inventory -  Your inventory can be found at the bottom of your screen. Click the padlock in the right hand corner to toggle locking it in place.

Hints - The hint button is found in the lower right-hand corner of your screen. Click here if you're stuck. Just remember, the button takes time to charge before you can use it again.

Menu -  The menu button is located at the bottom left-hand corner of your screen.

Hidden Object Scenes - Hidden object scenes will sparkle. Items in white will require an extra step in order to find them.

Navigation Arrow - When your cursor turns into an arrow, it means you can move in that direction.

Mini-games - During mini-games, if you can't figure out the puzzle or don't feel like trying to solve it, you can click the skip button that's located in the bottom right hand corner as soon as it charges.

Map - To access the map, click on the journal in the bottom right hand corner of your screen, then click on the map tab at the top. Click an area to fast travel to a location.
