Opening Story:

In Final Cut: Encore, things pick up right were they left off in the first Final Cut game, as you and your brother Frederick begin to pick up the pieces of your lives and help restore your father's legacy. The deadly machine that he created has been dismantled and the only remaining piece lies in your library, the iris, as a reminder of your father's transgressions. However, peace doesn't seem to want to come easy, as you soon discover your mad half-sister Linda has escape from the asylum and may be after you and your brother once more. In an attempt to keep you safe, your Uncle takes the iris and intends to take you to the military base for safekeeping until Linda can be found... but things quickly begin to unravel fast from there. Can you put together the pieces of this mystery before you and your brother join the countless other victims of this horrifying device? With our Final Cur Encore Walkthrough, you'll have no trouble!

General Tips for Final Cut: Encore

Difficulty - Three modes: Casual, Challenging, and Expert. In Casual Mode, sparkles will indicate active areas, and the hint and skip buttons charge very quickly. In Challenging Mode, sparkles will indicate active areas, the hint and skip button will charge at a slower rate, and there are penalties for mis-clicks. In Expert Mode, there are no sparkles, the hint and skip buttons take a very long time to charge, and there are penalties for mis-clicks.

Hand - When your cursor turns into a hand, it means you can pick up an object or interact with it in some way.

Chat Bubble - When your cursor turns into a chat bubble, it means you can talk to that character.

Gears - When your cursor turns into gears, it means you can use an item from your inventory.

Magnifying Glass - When your cursor turns into a magnifying glass, it means you can zoom in and take a closer look on an area

Diary - Your Diary can be found in the lower left hand corner of your screen. Game notes and observations that you make throughout the adventure can be found here.

Inventory -  Your inventory can be found at the bottom of your screen. Click the padlock in the right hand corner to toggle locking it in place.

Hints - The hint button is found in the lower right-hand corner of your screen. Click here if you're stuck. Just remember, the button takes time to charge before you can use it again.

Menu -  The menu button is located at the bottom left-hand corner of your screen.

Hidden Object Scenes - Hidden object scenes will sparkle. Items in white will require an extra step in order to find them.

Navigation Arrow - When your cursor turns into an arrow, it means you can move in that direction.

Mini-games - During mini-games, if you can't figure out the puzzle or don't feel like trying to solve it, you can click the skip button that's located in the bottom right hand corner as soon as it charges.

Hidden Object Scenes - Sparkles will indicate a hidden object scene. Objects in red require an extra step to find them. If you would rather play a Match 3 game instead of finding the objects, click on the "Play Match 3" button in the bottom left.
