Opening Story

In Family Tales: The Sisters, disturbing dreams of your sister, Anna, drive you to your parents house determined to make sure she's okay. However, you soon discover that something terrible has befallen her; she is being held in the strange and tortured reality of the Dark Lord. Can you brave this pyschotic realm and save your sister before it's too late? Find out in this exciting hidden object adventure game!

General Tips for Family Tales: The Sisters

Difficulty - Three modes: Easy, Expert, and Pro. In Easy mode the hint button recharges more quickly and sparkles mark active zones; in Expert mode there are no sparkles and the hint button takes longer to recharge; in Expert mode there are no sparkles, hints, or a skip button.

Navigation Arrow - When your cursor turns into an arrow (which looks like an upside down heart), it means you go move in that direction.

Hand Cursor - When your cursor turns into a hand, it means you can pick up an item and add it to your inventory or move it.

Gears - When your cursor turns into spinning gears, it means you need to use an item from your inventory.

Magnifying Glass- When your cursor turns into a magnifying glass it means you can zoom into an area to get a better look.

Hidden Object Scenes -  Hidden object scenes will be indicated by sparkles. There are two types.  The standard type with 2-3 objects in yellow will require an extra step in order to find them.  Silhouette type will require you to find objects in a particular order to make or access other objects.  

Inventory -  Your inventory can be found at the bottom of the screen. When you hover the cursor, it will pop up.  

Hints -  The hint button found in the lower right hand corner of your screen below the crystal ball.  Click here if you're stuck. Just remember, the button takes time to charge before you can use it again.

Menu -  The menu button is located at the bottom left portion of your screen below the journal.

Journal - Your journal can be found in the bottom left corner of your screen. Click here to review your game notes.

Reset - During most mini-games, there will be a reset button available to start over from the beginning.

Skip -  During mini-games, if you are having trouble or maybe you just don't feel like solving it, you can click on the skip button.
