Echoes of the Past-The Citadels of Time

Goal:  Get all the clocks restarted and defeat the witch by completing hidden object puzzles while traveling through time.

Magic Book: Important notes and clues will be registered here. It will update as the game progresses.

Useful items: You will find useful items in some rooms, these will help you continue the adventure. Extra effort is required for items colored red
Sometimes I will let you know by color code which items need to be picked up or put together to complete a puzzle, ex: (red) (blue)  and the colors will coordinate with circles or boxes on the screen shot.

Inventory: The items you find will be stored in your inventory bar

Mirror:  Click the mirror if you need a hint

Magnifying Glass: This appears over areas you need to take a closer look at, or zoom in for puzzles

Hand pointing:  Lets you know an object needs to be touched
Hand grasping: Allows you to pick up an object

Moving between areas: You will see an arrow appear letting you know you can enter a new area

There are five chapters:

CHAPTER 1 - PROPHET
The game starts out in the museum /throne room

* Zoom in on the clock. Your goal is to fix the clock to get back home.

* Click on the glass case to the right of the clock, solve the puzzle (see solution)

* Solution: Make a path from the top arrow to the bottom arrow by clicking on the dots in the color order (blue, yellow, pink)
* Pick up the mace

* Go through the doorway to the right
* Click on the cabinet to the right
* Pick up the picture in center
* Pick up the  Statues Head under the left glass dome click to leave cabinet

* Pick up the bas-relief on the floor between the statue and the cabinet
* From inventory place mace in hand of larger gargoyle statue

* Click on smaller gargoyle
* From inventory, place bas-relief on door to open portal

* Go through secret portal where you will meet The Prophet
* Click on the sparkling area to the right of the desk to open puzzle
* Find the hidden objects
* Click celestial map on trunk until you form the bear (Ursa Major), click on bear (red)
* Drag the herbs to the mortar and pestle, click on herbs in bowl
* Click on bears mouth and click on fang (green)
* Pick up Statues Arm upon completion of puzzle (yellow)

* Go through doorway on right to courtyard
* Click on alcove in back of courtyard

* From inventory drag Statues Head and Statues Arm to wooden statue

* Click on head and hands to rotate them in the correct direction to rotate statue, pick up Key (see solution below)

* Click on smithy door lower left
* From inventory, drag key to lock to open smithy door, go inside
* Click on box in lower right corner and pick up hammer

* Go outside and click on castle gate to zoom in
* From inventory take hammer and drag to stick, jammed in wheel, go through open gate

* Click on the area just to the left of the archery stand to zoom in (1)
* Pick up chisel
* Click on middle area to zoom in (2)
* Pick up pitchfork handle

* Leave the field and go back to the smithy
* Click on table to zoom in on pitchfork
*  From inventory, drag pitchfork handle to pitchfork, pick up pitchfork

* Leave the smithy and go back to the field through the castle gate
* From inventory, drag pitchfork to hay in lower left corner
* Pick up wheel, go back to courtyard

* From inventory, drag wheel to cart in lower left corner
* Go down two clicks to museum
* Zoom in on door, right side of room
* From inventory, drag chisel to door to open puzzle

* Turn the dials on the right to match numbers on the left (see solution)

* Go through open door on right into office

* Click on top desk drawer to open puzzle
* Find hidden objects
* Use the pink pen to color in the elephant, pick up pink elephant (pink)
* Drag bread to toaster, pick up toast (green)
* Click on gun, pick up bullet (blue)
* Pick up the chest key (red) when puzzle is completed

* Pick up soldier off top right shelf

* Leave room by going down one click
* From inventory, drag chest key to chest, lower left corner to open
* Pick up arrows and magnetic card

* Go back into office
* From inventory, drag magnetic card to cabinet right side

* Click on sparkling cabinet (right side) to open puzzle
* Replace the missing items
* Strap added to inventory

* Leave office, go one click forward through portal, and two clicks right to archery stand
* Click on archer stand to zoom in
* From inventory, place arrows in quiver upper left (green)
* Click on crossbow, lower left of screen (blue)
* Click on top handle to raise and bottom handle to lower crossbow (red)
Solution:
    Click top handle twice, click on crossbow
    Click bottom handle twice, click on crossbow
    Click bottom handle three times, click on crossbow

* Pick up blunt knife on floor (purple)

* Click down one time to get to courtyard
* Click on grindstone to zoom in
* From inventory, drag strap to wheel
* From inventory, drag blunt knife to wheel to sharpen, pick up sharp knife

* Go into Smithy
* From inventory, drag sharp knife to chest, lower left,  to cut ropes
* Pick up rope
* Click on chest to open, take lever
* Leave the smithy and click on the steps top middle to zoom in
* From inventory, take lever and place in to right empty slot to trigger puzzle
* Move levers to put steps in place
Solution: move 2nd and 4th levers down

* Go up stairs
* Click twice on rock pile in left corner, pick up crowbar
* Go down one click to grindstone
* Click on grindstone to zoom in
* From inventory, take crowbar and drag to stone, lower left corner
* Pick up bellows (crowbar returns to inventory for later use)

* Go right through gate to field
* Click on area left of archery stand
* From inventory, use crowbar on box, pick up oil can
* From inventory, drag rope to torch, pick up torch

* Click two clicks down to prophets room
* From inventory, drag torch to fire to light it, pick up torch
* Click on chest to right of desk to open puzzle
* Find hidden objects
* Drag the stick on top of the chest to the two sticks on the floor, pick up triangle (blue)
* Pick up the axe stuck in the chest and drag to log at far right, pick up wooden doll (green)
* Pick up piece of coal in front of small box and drag to X on small box, pick up roman numeral nine IX (red)
* Pick up metal tongs right side of chest (yellow)

*  Go out right doorway and go into Smithy
* Click on box on right table to zoom in
* From inventory, drag oil can to box to open, pick up screw
* Leave smithy and go up steps to shuttered window
* From inventory, drag screw to empty hole in bottom of window handle
* Turn both window handles to open shutters, pick up the axe embedded in left shutter
* Go down one click, then go through open gate on right
* Click on the middle area
* From inventory, drag axe to stump, pick up logs

* Go down one click and go into smithy
* click on fireplace to zoom in
* From inventory, drag logs to hearth (1)
* From inventory, drag fire to logs (2)
* From inventory, drag bellows to fire (3)
* From inventory, drag tongs to hot mold and then to cooling trough on left (4) & (5)
* Pick up handle from trough

* Leave smith and go over to well
* click on well to zoom in
* From inventory, take handle and drag to right side of well
* Pick up gear out of bucket

* Go down one click to prophet
* Click on clock on desk to zoom in
* From inventory, drag gear to clock

* You now return to the museum,where the witch destroys the painting
* Pick up paper scraps on the floor below painting
* From inventory, drag scraps to painting to open puzzle
* Reassemble all the pieces of the painting to restore it, pick up clock number (see solution below)

* Go through doorway on right to office
* Click on top desk drawer to open puzzle
* Find hidden items
* Drag train track on cabinet to tracks on floor, pick up train (green)
* Click on envelope to open, pick up letter (red)
* Drag knife to shoe box to open, pick up laces (yellow)
* Pick up door ring (blue)

* Leave office, click down one time to museum lobby
* Click on clock to zoom in
* From inventory, drag clock number to correct spot

* Leave clock and click on door on left below exit sign to zoom in
* From inventory, drag door handle to empty spot on door
* Click on handles until they both face forward

* Zoom in on the grandfather clock to update the magic book
* Leave the clock and go through the newly opened doorway on the left
* Go up one click
* Click on toolbox on right to zoom in
* Click on toolbox to open, pick up pliers and screwdriver

* Click on door to right to zoom in
* Click on picture to update magic book
* Click on book in back left corner to zoom in, pick up button
* Pick up monitor control block in upper left corner (yellow)

* Go down one click
* Click on glass cabinet to zoom in
* From inventory, use pliers to open case
* Pick up comb

* Go down one click then go right
* Click on trunk on left to zoom in
* From inventory, use screwdriver on screws, pick up dagger

* Go through doorway on right into office
* Click on monitors to zoom in
* From inventory take monitor control block and place below top left blank screen to obtain another magic book update
* Make note of the picture of the knobs on the screen for later use

CHAPTER 2 - PRINCESS
* Leave office, go down once, left three times (you will go through portal), and up once
* From inventory, place comb in hair, pick up pearl from necklace
* Click on items under desk to move them, pick up scissors
* Click on puppet theater upper right corner to zoom in, pick up swords
* Click on table to open puzzle (green)
* Click on the rings to line up openings, pick up soldier once completed

* Click down one time to go to bedroom
* Click on bed to zoom in
* Click on pillows to move them
* Pick up picture to obtain magic book update
* From inventory, use scissors to cut threads on doll, pick up key
* Pull bed cord 3x, pick up horn
* Click on top of cupboard to zoom in, use golden key to open, pick up pearl (red)

* Click dressing table, left side, to open puzzle
* Find hidden objects
* Click on fruit 3x, pick up apple
* Click on starfish 2x, pick up fish
* Drag watering can to plant, pick up flower
* Drag key in upper right corner to chess box, take chess piece
* Click on oyster, lower right corner, pick up pearl (purple)

* From inventory, drag scissors to present below bed to open puzzle

* Replace the missing items, leaves will be placed in inventory

* Click to go down 2x
* Click on glass case on right to zoom in
* From inventory, Replace the 3 pearls, pick up crown from open box
* Go through the portal on the left
* Click on the door to the right of the princess
* From inventory, place the horn, crown, and swords on door to open puzzle
* Arrange the images so each section has 4 different pictures and forms a complete frame

* Go through doorway on right
* Pick up Heraldic Lily on floor beneath cabinet on left (green)
* Zoom in on the terrarium on left, pick up glove
* Zoom in on cupboard on left, pick up red ball, pick up picture to obtain magic book update
* Zoom in on box on desk to open puzzle (yellow)

* From inventory, drag leaves to puzzle
* Place all the leaves in the correct spot (see solution below)
* Pick up metal plate

* Go down 1 click
* Go through doorway on left
* Click on clown to zoom in
* From inventory place ball on clown to open puzzle
* Arrange the balls in each hand to match buttons on jacket, this will eventually open a drawer (see solution below)
* Click on a ball to move it to the top of the other stack, keep doing this until they match the buttons on his jacket
    Click on balls in this order: DARK GREEN, ORANGE, RED, DARK BLUE, LIGHT BLUE 2X, LIGHT GREEN 2X, YELLOW, PURPLE
* Pick up the metal plate 

* Go through doorway on right
* From inventory, use gloves to pick up roses off of stool in center of room
* Pick up metal plate
* Click down 3x
* Click on door on the right to zoom in
* From inventory, place the three metal plates on door to open puzzle
* Click on the 3 movable plates until they correspond with the picture next to it
    Flag with Castle
    Cannon Balls with Cannon
    Arrow with Shield

CHAPTER 3 - PRINCE
* Go through right portal
* Click on chest to open
* Pick up anchor and weight

* Go through doorway on  left
* Pick up triangular key in left corner
* Click on armor 3x, pick up doll

* Go out door, and down 1 click
* Go left 2x
* Go right 1x
* Click on puppet theater to zoom in
* From inventory, drag doll to puppet theater
* Pick up button

* Click down 1x
* Click on vanity on right to open puzzle
* Find hidden items
* Pick up stamp and drag to decree, pick up decree (blue)
* Pick up needle and thread and drag to cloth, pick up sun (red)
* Pick up cupboard handle (purple)

* Click down 1x
* Go right
* Click on cupboard to zoom in
* From inventory, drag handle to holes, pick up pistol

* Click down 2x
* Go through right doorway
* Click on cupboard in back left of room to zoom in
* From inventory, drag two buttons to lock to open puzzle
* Click buttons in correct order to open lock (see solution below)
* Pick up book

* Go through left doorway
* From inventory, drag pistol, dagger, and heraldic lily to board on right wall
* Take the lock part

* Click down 2x
* Go through left portal
* Go through right doorway
* Click on door in back of room to zoom in
* From inventory, drag the lock part to door to open puzzle
* Set the correct order of images from left to right using the hint on the center labyrinth

* Go through open doorway in back of room
* From inventory, place book on shelf
* Pick up table part

* Click down 3x,go through right doorway
* Click on table to zoom in
* From inventory, drag table part to table to open puzzle
* Turn the rings until in proper place (see solution below)
    Click center ring 2x
    Click 2nd from center 1x
    Click 3rd from center 3x
* Pick up ship and flag point

* Click down 1x
* Go left 2x
* Click on box at base of bed to open puzzle
* Replace the objects, Part of the Globe added to inventory

* Go down 1 click, then go right
* Click on ship on top of shelf to zoom in
* From inventory, drag ship to empty stand on right
* From inventory, drag anchor to ship on left, pick up soldier(green)

* Go through doorway at back of room
* Click on globe to zoom in
* From inventory, place Part of Globe in missing spot
* Pick up the soldier
* From inventory, drag all 4 soldiers and put in place around the castle on table
* Pick up Cage Key
* From inventory, drag cage key to cage, pick up Egg

* Click down 1x
* Click on terrarium to zoom in
* From inventory, drag egg to cracked plate, Pick up Drawer Key

* Click down 1x
* Go left
* Go right
* From inventory, drag Drawer Key to bottom bureau drawer
* Pick up Landing Net (green)

* Click down 1x
* Click on fish bowl to zoom in
* From inventory, drag net to fish bowl, pick up Weight

*Click down 1x
* Click on clock to zoom in
* From inventory, drag weights to clock
* Click on painting on left wall to open puzzle
* Click on image squares to rearrange and restore the painting, pick up Clock Piece (green)

* Drag cheese to hole, pick up rat (blue)
* Pick up hammer, break glass on lantern, pick up lit candle (red)
* Pick up charcoal, drag to parchment on wall, pick up Number 9 (yellow)
* Pick up Hexagonal Bas-Relief (purple)

* Click on right side of table to zoom in
* Pick up  Stone Bas-Relief, remember the date on the parchment (856)

* Click down 1x
* From inventory, drag Hexagonal Bas-Relief to back upper wall
* Click on opening to zoom in for puzzle
* Swap any two pieces to complete the picture, pick up crown part

* Click down 2x
* Click on wall mechanism next to painting on left wall to zoom in
* From inventory,drag Stone Bas-Relief to  mechanism to open puzzle
* Click in correct sequence the colors Pink-Yellow-Blue to complete the circuit (see solution below)
* Pick up safe handle

* Click down 1x
* Go right 2x into office
* Click on safe to zoom in
* From inventory, drag handle to safe
* Click on the keypad, use the code from your magic book: 856
* Click on safe to zoom in
* Pick up the Treasure House Keys

* Go through door on back wall to Castle Square

* From inventory, drag Crown Part to empty space at bottom to trigger puzzle
* This is a slider puzzle. You must slide the blocks around to create openings for the crown parts
    to be moved into place at the top of the puzzle (See video for solution)

* Click on the carriage
* Click on the bag, take the Metal Blocks and Pendulum Part

* Click on door of building at back to zoom in
* From inventory, drag the Metal Emblem to door to open door

* Go through newly opened door
* Pick up Lock Part (green)
* Click on shelves to open puzzle (yellow)

PUZZLE
* Find hidden items
* Pick up Batteries, drag to Camera, click on camera, pick up Flower Picture (red)
* Click on egg 2x, pick up Chicken (green)
* Click on leaf book to flip pages, pick up Maple Leaf (blue)
* Pick up wrench (purple)

* Click down 4x
* Go right 2x
* Click on safe to zoom in
* From inventory, drag Lock Part to front of box to open
* Pick up Snake Symbol

* Click down 2x
* Go left, right, left, right
* Click on back gate to zoom in
* From inventory, drag Metal Blocks on lock to open puzzle
* Stack metal blocks so they are pressed down when you click on the upper jaw/lock
* Click on upper part of lock

* Go through newly opened gate
* Click on machine with hanging bones 1x, pick up Quadrangular Key

* Click on torture device in back right corner to zoom in

* From inventory, drag broom to cobwebs on back wall to uncover puzzle

* Using the Note with Symbols from the magic book, solve the puzzle
* Pick up Round Key

* From inventory, place Golden Statuette on desk (green)
* Click on desk to open puzzle
* Arrange skulls in order by heaviest to lightest, by weighing them on scale
* Pick up Ruby

* Click down 1x
* Go left, Go right
* Click on book on table to zoom in
* From inventory, drag Ruby to empty spot on book, pick up Letter H

* Go down 3x
* Go up 3x
* Click on door at back right corner to zoom in
*  From inventory take the three keys, Triangular, Quadrangular, and Circular and unlock the door
* Go through open doorway upper right corner

CHAPTER 4- THE FISHERMAN

* Click on stuff on floor, lower left corner 4x, pick up Vice Lever and Mitten
* Pick up the Pruning Shears

* Click down 4x
* Go right
* Go left
* Go right
* Go straight
* From inventory take Vice Lever and drag to Vice, pick up Letter R off of chair

* Click down 1x
* Click on chair on right wall to open puzzle
* Find hidden items
* Pick up ladle from fireplace and pour into key mold, pick up key (green)
* Click on the loaf of bread, pick up Rasp (red)
* Pick up Powder Bag (blue)

* Click down 1x
* Click on cork in barrel (green)
* From inventory, drag bag to gunpowder, pick up bag (blue)
* From inventory, drag Hacksaw to chains,lower left, pick up Cannon Ball (red)

* Click down 2x
* Click up 3x
* From inventory, drag Pruning Shears to vines on left wall, pick up Zodiac Sign
*  Click down 1x, go left
* From inventory, drag Pruning Shears to shrubs on left, pick up Tin Cover

* From inventory, drag Gunpowder Bag to cannon
* From inventory, drag Cannon Ball to cannon
* From inventory, drag Torch to cannon to light fuse

* Go through blown out opening
* From inventory, drag Letter H and Letter R to middle crypt
* Pick up cupboard handle
*

* Click down 4x
* Go right 2x
* Click on cupboard on back wall to zoom in
* From inventory, drag Cupboard Handle to left side of cupboard to open puzzle
* Rearrange the urns in the correct order using hints from the torn papers on the sides of screen (see solution below)
* Pick up Chest Key

* From inventory, drag Chest Key to chest below cupboard to open it
* Pick up Weights

* Click down 1x
* Go left
* Go right
* Click on gate on right wall to zoom in
* From inventory, drag Weights to lock to open puzzle
* Arrange the weights so that all the columns are balanced (see solution below)
* All the weights should equal 13 in each column, Pick up Pendulum Part from Skeletons hand

* Click down 2x
* Click on clock to zoom in
* From inventory, drag 2 Pendulum Parts to clock

* Click on Painting to open puzzle
* Click on pieces to rotate them into the correct position to restore painting (see solution below)
* Pick up Clock Number

* Click down 1x
* Click on clock to zoom in
* From inventory, drag Clock Number to correct spot to obtain magic book update
* Go left
* Click up 3x
* Click on shelves to open puzzle
* Find hidden items
* Click on teapot, drag to teacup, pick up teacup(green)
* Pick up knife, drag to peach, pick up Peach Stone (orange)
* Click on cocoon 3x, pick up Butterfly (red)
* Pick up Awl (blue)

* Click on door to zoom in
* From inventory, use Awl on door to loosen hinge

* Go through open door
* Pick up Letter D

* Click on left crypt
* From inventory,drag Letter C and Letter D to crypt, pick up Small Axe

* Click down 2x
* Click up 1x, go right, go left
* From inventory, drag Small  Axe to branches on right

* Go right through newly cleared path
* Click on moss 3x, pick up Hook
* Click on crate to open puzzle
* Untangle the net so none of the lines are crossed. Move them so the knots disappear.
* Net will be added to inventory when puzzle is solved

* Click up 1x
* Pick up Unicorn Head
* Click on dock to zoom in
* Pick up Wooden Fish
* From inventory, drag net to winch, pick up Zodiac Bas-Relief and Door Key

* Click down 6x
* Click on Art Piece on right wall to zoom in
* From inventory, drag Unicorn Head and Snake Symbol to picture to open puzzle
* Follow the color sequence of Green, Pink, Blue & Yellow to complete the circuit

* Click up 1x
* Go left
* Click up 1x
* Click on shield on back wall to zoom in
* From inventory, drag Skull to shield
* Pick up Hexagonal Key and Wooden Fish

* Click down 2x
* Click up 1x
* Go right
* Go Left

* Click on hatch on boat
* From inventory, drag hexagonal key to lock
* Pick up Resin

* Click up 1x
* From inventory, drag Resin to pot
* From inventory, drag Fire to wood under pot
* From inventory, use Mitten to pick up pot

* Click down 2x
* Click on Well to zoom in
* From inventory, drag Rope to well
* From inventory, drag Hook to well
* From inventory, drag Tin Covering to bucket
* From inventory, drag Tar to bucket
* Pick up Bucket

* Click up 2x
* From inventory, drag bucket to winch
* Pick up Bucket With Water

* Click down 2x
* From inventory, drag Bucket with Water to fire
* Pick up Smoldering Wood

* Go left
* Click on shed to open puzzle

* Pick up match, drag to matchbox, drag to pipe, pick up Lit Pipe (red)
* Pick up net, place on pole, pick up Landing Net (green)
* Pick up corkscrew, use on bottle, pick up Letter (blue)
* Pick up Steering Control

* Click on scarecrow 3x, pick up Wooden Fish

* Click down 2x
* Click on cupboard on left wall to zoom in
* From inventory, drag 3 Wooden Fish to cupboard
* Pick up Candlestick

* Go left out the door, go up 1x
* From inventory, drag Steering Control to boat
* Pick up Boat Hook

* Click up 1x
* From inventory, drag Boat Hook to Boat
* Pick up Part of the Electric Panel

* Click down 4x
* Click on tree in background to zoom in
* From inventory, drag Smoldering Wood to Bee Hive
* Pick up Fishing Line

* Go down 2x
* From inventory, place Candlestick in holder on left wall

* Go left through portal
* Go down stairs

CHAPTER 5 - THE SCIENTIST

* Click on the cabinet to zoom in
* From inventory, drag the Part of the Electric Panel to the Panel to open puzzle
* Complete the circuits between the red and the blue by rotating the wires

* Pick up Cutting Pliers on floor left side (green)
* From inventory, drag Door Key to door to open

* Go through doorway in to science lab
* Pick up anti-rust liquid on top shelf (green)
* Click on cabinet to open puzzle (red)
* Find hidden items
* Click on globe to spin it to Australia, pick up Australia
* Pick up yellow liquid, drag to blue liquid, pick up Green Liquid (red)
* Click on book, upper right corner to flip pages 2x, pick up Pythagorean Theory (blue)
* Pick up Letter Z (yellow)

* Click down 2x, go upstairs
* Pick up Gear (green)

* Click down 4x
* Go right 1x
* Click on cabinet to zoom in
* From inventory, use Cutting Pliers on wires
* Pick up Zodiac Bas-Relief

* Pick up Chemical Solution

* Go upstairs
* Go Left
* Click on parchment to zoom in
* From inventory, drag Chemical Solution to paper to add update to magic book (you will need this for the next puzzle)

* Click on safe to zoom in
* From inventory, drag Safe Handle to empty space to open puzzle
* Move the handles according to the code in the magic book to move the light beams in the right direction
* Pick up Clock Hand

* Click down 2x
* Click on the clock to zoom in
* From inventory, drag Clock Hands to clock

* Pick up Picture Scraps from below picture
* Click on painting to zoom in
* From inventory, drag Picture Scraps to painting to open puzzle
* Arrange the pieces to restore the painting

* Click down 2x
* Click on clock to zoom in
* From inventory, drag last number in to place

* Click on the clock to enter through the portal
* Click on the area above the stairs to open puzzle
* Place the small crystals in the correct path to connect the large crystals

* Click each mechanism in the right order so they all move
