Overview: The true story of Sleeping Beauty... You are a detective sent 1,000 years after the original tale is told to a castle believed to be Briar Rose's resting place. The vines under the castle are growing at a rapid rate and threatening a city. Can you stop whatever it is?

Sparkles: These are areas of interest.

Puzzles: Puzzles can be skipped but will lock the hint button for 5 minutes.

Hints: Unlimited, but you have to wait for them to "fill up."

Notes: Important information is stored here and can be read at anytime.

Inspect: This shows you what areas can currently be explored. This is also helpful if you are not sure where to go next.

Objective: Once you are done with the areas showed under "Inspect", you will see your object to progress to the next chapter. You can use a hint to help you out.

Cursed Objects: There are 20 cursed/morphing objects that will recharge your hints quickly when clicked. Keep an eye out for glowing/moving objects.

NOTE: DUE TO THE FACT THERE IS NO SET ORDER TO PROGRESS THROUGH THE GAME, YOU MAY COMPLETE SOME ITEMS BEFORE OR AFTER I SPECIFY IN THIS GUIDE.

Outside the Castle

Chapter One

Castle Steps

1.       examine the base of the statue – puzzle

·         place the symbols in the correct spots

·         some items belong to the king, some the queen, and some the prince

·         each has an item for the head, hand, and body

·         you will be missing one symbol – click the upper, right owl to retrieve it

·         fun fact: all the owls are interactive

2.       click the base of the statue and take the door handle

3.       go up the steps

Garden

1.       examine the water – hidden object area

3.       go right

Courtyard

1.       listen to Briar Rose's ghost

2.       take the doll

3.       continue up

Graveyard

1.       examine the base of the statue – puzzle

·         click all the small, square doors to find the gold key

·         use the key on the lock

·         rotate the symbols under each animal (mouse, rabbit, monkey) until the appropriate food is underneath them (cheese, carrot, banana)

·         now play the bells in the right sequence, you clue is the blue lights below each animal head

2.       take the bell tower key

3.       click on the red-winged blackbird

4.       continue up

Bell Tower

1.       examine the gate and use the bell tower key

2.       enter the bell tower

3.       examine the bells – hidden object area

4.       exit back to the garden

Garden

1.       click the closed gate

2.       insert the moon symbol into the middle

3.       replace the handle below it

4.       enter

Chapter Two

Entrance

1.       examine the small hut to the left – hidden object area

2.       continue up

Outside Stables

1.       see the image of a witch (scary!)

2.       examine the stable doors – puzzle

·         solve each of the four (4) puzzles to move the horse forward

·         remove the ball hanging in the center

·         place the ball in the left corner – it will roll down

·         push the left button and the horse will move

·         push the button on the lower – right side

·         take the piece of puzzle and place it in the upper – right corner

·         push the button inside the lower – right corner

·         take the puzzle piece from the lower – left corner

·         place the puzzle piece in the upper – right corner

·         take the remaining puzzle pieces (1 on the left wall and 1 in the center picture) and place them in the upper right corner

·         the pieces will make an arrow and the horse will move again

·         push the lower – right button again and push the button inside

·         take the gear and place it in the lower – left box

·         take the gear from the upper – left box and place it in the lower –left box

·         take the arrow on the right wall and place it in the center dial

·         press the button three (3) times and the horse will move again

3.       enter the stables

Stables

2.       go right

Wishing Well

1.       pick up the knife

2.       continue up

Outside Chapel

1.       pick up the disc

2.       examine the door – puzzle

·         move each colored ball so it is above the correct tile

·         match the colors

·         click the ball you wish to move and arrows will appear

·         blue solution: right, down

·         orange solution: down, left, up, right, up

·         purple solution: down, right, down

3.       enter chapel

1.       place the king's scepter in his hand

2.       go up

3.       place the statue pieces of the fairy godmother on the base to the right

1.       use the shovel on the pile of leaves to the right of the arch

1.       use the half of a ladder on top of the ladder

2.       exit up

Dining Room

1.       pick up the disc below the flower pot

·         the pictures above the doors are the clues

·         solution: match two cats; match the king and queen; match the sword and shield, match the 6 and the 9

2.       exit

Statues

1.       examine the plaque and the statues

2.       take the book lying on the floor – left side

3.       exit back down the ladder to the stables

4.       examine the glowing symbol – it will teleport you!

5.       go to the prison

3.       click the spot that sparkles on the dummy to get the rope

4.       in the far right cell pick up the mirror symbol

5.       exit to the entrance

3.       return to the library and enter the aviary to the left

Aviary

1.       examine the birds – puzzle

a.       place the birds in the correct order

b.       solution: owl; hummingbird; parrot; pigeon (dove)

c.       now click the green arrows to flip the pictures so they are in order

d.       take the machete

2.       go back to the upper castle

Upper Castle

1.       use the machete on the vines covering the wall

2.       examine the door – puzzle

·         another ball puzzle

·         get the right colored ball to its matching square

·         green solution: down, right, up, left, up

·         purple solution: up, left

·         orange solution: left, up

·         blue solution: up, right

Hallway

3.       return to the pantry

1.       use the hammer to break the bottle on the top, left shelf

2.       take the heart disc

3.       go to the well

Well

1.       use the rope on well

2.       take the broom

3.       return to the pantry and into the servant's quarters

Servant's Quarters

1.       use the broom on the debris

2.       pick up the disc

3.       exit to outside the chapel

Outside Chapel

1.       examine the alter to the right – puzzle

·         read the clue on the plaque and place the appropriate disc/symbol in the slot with the rose

·         solution: crown; umbrella; shield; mirror; boot; glass slipper; heart; star; rose

2.       go to the graveyard

Graveyard

1.       use the gold key on the locked gate

2.       enter

Rose Room Gate

1.       use the white rose on the left glowing rose

2.       use the black rose on the right blowing rose

3.       go up into the rose room

Rose Room

1.       use the red rose potion on the table to the left – puzzle

·         match the symbols on the left to the ones falling on the right

·         click the symbol on the left that matches the right before it falls into the cauldron

2.       talk to Briar Rose

3.       she gives you the crown to the frog prince
