Opening Story:

In Dark Canvas: A Brush with Death, you are a mother on a mission. Your daughter should be having the time of her life; after all, she’s traveling through Europe! But when she sends a letter begging for your help, it’s your turn to jump on a plane. The town in which she disappeared seems to be having more trouble than just a missing woman, however, as it seems a local artist has been painting prophetic art that has been predicting the deaths of locals. Now, you must find your daughter and discover the truth behind the paintings before her fate becomes just another piece for an art show.

General Tips for playing Dark Canvas: A Brush with Death

Difficulty – Three modes: Casual, Advanced, and Extreme. In Casual Mode there are sparkles to indicate active areas and the hint and skip buttons recharge quickly; in Advanced Mode there are sparkles, but the hint and skip buttons take three times longer to charge; in Extreme Mode no help is offered.

Arrow Cursor – An arrow appears it means you can move in that direction.

Hand Cursor – When your cursor turns into a hand it means you can pick up an item and add it to your inventory.

Glasses Icon -  When your cursor becomes a pair of glasses it means you can zoom into an area to get a better look.

Hidden Object Scenes -  Hidden object scenes will be indicated by sparkles.

Inventory -  Your inventory can be found at the bottom of the screen.

Hints -  The hint button in the lower right hand corner of your screen and looks like a jar of red paint. Just remember, the button takes time to charge before you can use it again

Art Book – Your art book can be found in the lower left hand corner of your screen near the menu; it contains any clues you’ve picked up so far and also tracks your achievements.

Menu -  The menu button is located at the bottom left portion of your screen.

Skip -  During mini-games, if you are having trouble or maybe you just don't feel like solving it, you can click on the skip button.
