Opening Story:

In Cursery: The Crooked Man and The Crooked Cat, you're traveling down an old worn path when you and your sister are attacked by a mysterious man in a top hat and his feline companion. The man makes off with your sister, Renee, and you follow him into the darkening wood, determined to save her from his clutches. Every step takes you deeper and deeper into this mysterious fairytale as you soon discover that the man believes Renee is the reincarnation of his long lost love and is lost in his mad grieving thoughts. Can you find and save your sister before it's too late? Find out in this amazing hidden object adventure game!

General Tips for Cursery: The Crooked Man and The Crooked Cat

Difficulty - There are three modes of difficulty: Casual, Normal, and Hard. In Casual mode, the hint and skip button charge quickly, sparkles mark active areas. In Normal mode, the hint and skip button charges at a normal rate and sparkles will occasionally mark areas of interest. In Hard mode, there are no hint or skip buttons, there are no sparkles, and the map is disabled.

Magnifying Glass - When your cursor turns into a magnifying glass it means you can zoom into an area to get a better look or just inspect something more closely.

Hand Cursor - When your cursor turns into a hand, it means you can pick up an item and add it to your inventory or interact with an object.

Arrow Cursor - When you cursor turns into an arrow, it means you go move in that direction.

Hidden Object Scenes -  Hidden object scenes will be indicated by pink paws. These are fragmented hidden object scenes so you'll have to find the pieces of the objects within the scene in order to build the object you are looking for.

Map - The map is located in the bottom right hand corner of your screen. Places of interest will be marked. Click on an area to fast travel.

Hints -  The hint button found in the lower left hand corner of your screen. Click here if you're stuck. Just remember, the button takes time to charge before you can use it again.

Inventory -  Your inventory can be found at the bottom of the screen. Items you collect as you play can be found here.

Mini-games - Mini-games will be marked by sparkles. You can click on the instructions button for a more detailed explanation of what you need to do. If you don't feel like solving the puzzle, you can click on the skip button, but this will disable the hint button for a few minutes during gameplay.

Options - The options button is located at the bottom right portion of your screen.

Cursed Objects - There are 20 morphing cursed objects for you to find as you play.
