Opening Story:

In Awakening: The Redleaf Forest, you'll meet Queen Sophia in her final chapter of her epic journey to free her parents and defeat the evil Dreadmyre. Thrown into the Redleaf Forest, Sophia must find the smith who can help her forge the Blade of Courage, the only weapon that has a chance of beating Dreadmyre. But the forest is full of danger and Sophia must prove her worth as she travels with her faithful companions in search of her destiny.

General Tips for Awakening: The Redleaf Forest

Difficulty Settings - There are three difficulty settings in this game, Relaxed, Normal, and Dreadmyre. In Relaxed Mode, the hint and skip buttons charge quickly and there are interactive sparkles to indicate active areas. You will also have a tutorial to help you get started. In Normal Mode, the hint and skip buttons charge at a slower rate, there are sparkles to indicate active areas and there is no tutorial. In Dreadmyre Mode, the hint button is very slow, there is no skip buttton and no sparkles for active areas. There's also no tutorial.

Magnifying Glass - When your cursor turns into a magnifying glass, it means you can zoom in on an area to get a closer look.

Speech Bubble - When your cursor turns into a speech bubble, it means you can talk to that character.

Hand Cursor - When your cursor turns into a hand, it means you can pick up an item and add it to your inventory or interact with an object in some way.

Gears - When your cursor turns into gears, it means you can use an item from your inventory here.

Menu - The menu button is found in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen.

Hints - Hints are available throughout the game and can be found in the lower right corner to give you help when you need it. Click here if you're stuck. Just remember, these take time to charge before you can use it again.

Pocket Dragon - Your pocket dragon is located in the bottom left-hand corner of your screen. Use him to light things on fire.

Inventory - Your inventory can be found at the bottom of the screen.

Puzzles - During puzzles and mini-games, the skip button will let you skip the puzzle once it's fully charged.

Navigation Arrow - These will appear when you are able to move to another screen. Click on it to move.

Map - The map can be found in the lower right-hand corner. Click on an area to fast travel to it.

Hidden Object Scenes - Once you access a hidden object scene, items in yellow will require an extra step to find it.

Question Mark - The question mark indicated your current goals and can be found on the left side of your screen.
