I am stuck on the quest to save Red...

I am stuck on the quest to save Redd's parents. How do you release the horses? I can't get to the pressure plate no matter what I've tried. Can someone help me?

01/26/2009 		umm..I did this a while ago but I believe this is the one where you have to shoot the water tank up on the hill first and it will do the rest. I think, try that.
