I'm using Vista as of recently and it seems to me the game is slowed down whatever resolution I use (in windowed mode). GameHouse says the game may not be improved until Microsoft releases a service pack 1 for Vista. Even though Bigfish Games say the game can be used in Vista, there are still speed problems. It makes the game less enjoyable then.

I have no problem running Luxor 3 on Vista; runs very fast. Might want to check your video settings and check system requirements for the game. BTW, Vista SP1 is now available at Microsoft, but I don't think this is your problem. WytnoiZ |

I had the same problem as well as having my mouse not fire quickly until I went to compatibility mode and set it for XP Service PAck 1!! Works great now and I am on Vista! Hope this helps. |
