I am having the same problem. I have the hand, the thistle, the mirror and the order medal in my inventory. I cannot place the medal on the gate. Does anyone have any ideas? |

Solved it. The thistle needs to be in the locket which is in the room with the chemicals. Once that is done, the basement the owl works. |
