Maestro: Music of Death Walkthrough

Maestro: Music of Death finds you playing a detective who needs to rid the town of some kind of musical curse. Music that when played ages everyone very rapidly and killing them all. You don't find how who or what until near the very end, although you can guess it before that, so I won't give it away.

Maestro: Music of Death Walkthrough
Classes are just starting back and I decided before my professors pile on all that work I'd squeeze in a game. I don't really want to be here - I have the holiday blues - but at least I have my black cat to keep my company. I needed something to cheer me up so I dusted off and older game called Maestro: Music of Death assuming it would be creepy. It really wasn't creepy at all. Yes, creepy cheers me up. Maestro: Music of Death finds you playing a detective who needs to rid the town of some kind of musical curse. Music that when played ages everyone very rapidly and killing them all. You don't find how who or what until near the very end, although you can guess it before that, so I won't give it away. The game itself was a little dull, in my opinion. I turned the music off and left the sound on, but there was little to no ambiance which I always enjoy in games. Ambiance really puts you "in the game" and makes it so much more realistic. The artwork was very good, but nothing spectacular. It was on par with most hidden object games we see released. There are 28 hidden object scenes for hidden object lovers out there. They were easy to moderate, but I didn't find them overly difficult in anyway. The puzzles were moderately hard to difficult with a few being random for all players - which means, sorry folks, no solution. The story line, however, was very different from other games I've played. No asylum. No ghosts. So, that is a plus for this game. A unique story line, finally! I give this game an average rating, but if you are really addicted to hidden object games, you don't want a lot of scary, creepy, blood, gore, etc. then this game is for you. Mind you, it's not butterflies and faeries either, but it's a pretty lengthy game with dark elements and there will be a sequel sometime soon. Ciao! Here is a little peek at the game - mind you this video is for the collector's edition which I did not play.
